Title: MY BABY IS ON ITS WAY
By Rev. Samuel Arimoro
Main Text: Genesis 21:1-2
Supporting Texts: Psalm 113:9; Luke 1:37
INTRODUCTION:
There are moments in life when the promise of God feels delayed, but in due season, He steps in to deliver what He has promised. The birth of a child is often symbolic of a new beginning, new hope, and the manifestation of God's faithfulness. This sermon declares that your miracle is on its way, and what you have been waiting for will surely come to pass.
1. GOD'S PROMISES ARE SURE
a) God Is Faithful to His Word:
Every promise from God is certain and will come to pass at the appointed time (Isaiah 55:11).
b) God's Timing Is Perfect:
Though it may seem delayed, God's timing is always perfect and trustworthy (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
c) Nothing Is Too Hard for God:
God has the power to do what seems impossible to man (Luke 1:37).
d) The Fulfillment of Promise Brings Joy:
When God fulfills His promises, it brings joy, gladness, and celebration (Psalm 113:9).
Biblical Example: Sarah gave birth to Isaac when it seemed impossible (Genesis 21:1-2).
2. WAITING IN FAITH FOR THE PROMISE
a) Waiting is Not Wasting:
During the wait, God is working behind the scenes, preparing everything for the manifestation (Isaiah 40:31).
b) Faith in God’s Ability:
Trust in God’s ability to bring to pass that which He has promised (Romans 4:20-21).
c) Praise During the Waiting:
Praise and worship serve as an expression of faith while waiting for the promise (Psalm 40:1-3).
d) Endurance Brings Fruitfulness:
Through patience, we receive the promise (James 5:7-8).
Biblical Example: Hannah patiently waited for the Lord and was blessed with Samuel (1 Samuel 1:19-20).
3. THE SEASON OF DELIVERY IS HERE
a) A Change in Season:
The appointed time for your miracle is now. The season of waiting is over, and it’s time for manifestation (Genesis 21:1).
b) Birth of New Things:
When God moves, new things are birthed—dreams, promises, and breakthroughs (Isaiah 43:19).
c) The Miracle Is Already In Progress:
Even when you don’t see it, know that God is working things out in your favour (John 5:17).
d) Joy and Rejoicing Will Follow:
The birth of God's promises brings overwhelming joy (Luke 2:10-11).
Biblical Example: Elizabeth bore John the Baptist in her old age, as God visited her in her time of need (Luke 1:57-58).
4. THERE IS NO MORE DELAY
a) God Breaks the Power of Delay:
God will remove every obstacle hindering the fulfilment of His promises (Habakkuk 2:3).
b) Divine Acceleration:
God can speed up what seemed like a long wait. Expect a supernatural acceleration (Amos 9:13).
c) The Prophetic Word Will Come to Pass:
What God has declared, He will surely do (Jeremiah 1:12).
d) Prepare for the Arrival:
The time is now to prepare and position yourself for the miracle (Isaiah 54:2-3).
Biblical Example: The Israelites were delivered from Egypt after years of bondage in a moment of divine acceleration (Exodus 12:31-41).
5. REJOICE, FOR YOUR BABY IS COMING!
a) Expectation Brings Manifestation:
As you expect, so shall you receive. Keep your heart full of hope (Mark 11:24).
b) Celebrate Your Miracle Before It Arrives:
Praise God in advance for the miracle that is on its way (Philippians 4:6).
c) Your Miracle Is Unstoppable:
Nothing can hinder what God has ordained for you (Romans 8:31).
d) Your Testimony Will Bring Glory to God:
The birth of your miracle will be a testimony to others of God's greatness (Psalm 66:16).
Biblical Example: The birth of Isaac brought laughter and joy to Abraham and Sarah, and it became a testimony of God's faithfulness (Genesis 21:6).
