SAFE IN THE HANDS OF GOD

INTRODUCTION:
The hands of God represent His power, care, and protection. To be safe in His hands means being under His divine provision, shielded from the schemes of the enemy, and assured of His eternal love. In a world of uncertainty, there is no safer place than in the hands of God. This study will explore the assurance, protection, and peace we find when we place our lives in God’s hands.
1. THE HANDS OF GOD ARE STRONG AND SECURE
God’s hands are mighty and capable of holding and protecting His children.
a) God’s Hands Are All-Powerful:
His strength upholds the universe, and nothing is too hard for Him (Isaiah 40:12).
b) God’s Hands Are Protective:
He shields His children from harm and provides refuge (Psalm 91:4).
c) God’s Hands Are Unchanging:
Unlike human hands, His hands remain steadfast and reliable (Malachi 3:6).
d) God’s Hands Are Victorious:
In His hands, we are guaranteed victory over the enemy (Exodus 15:6).
Biblical Example:
The Israelites experienced God’s strong hand of deliverance when He brought them out of Egypt (Exodus 13:3).
2. GOD’S HANDS PROVIDE GUIDANCE
His hands lead us in paths of righteousness and direct our steps.
a) God’s Hands Lead in Righteousness:
He guides us through life’s uncertainties (Psalm 23:3).
b) God’s Hands Direct Our Decisions:
His hands steer us towards His divine purpose (Proverbs 3:5-6).
c) God’s Hands Support Us in Trials:
Even in the valley of the shadow of death, His hands sustain us (Isaiah 41:13).
d) God’s Hands Offer Clarity:
When life seems unclear, His hands bring illumination (Psalm 119:105).
Biblical Example:
David trusted God’s guidance, allowing him to triumph over Goliath (1 Samuel 17:45-50).
3. GOD’S HANDS OFFER PEACE AND ASSURANCE
In His hands, we find rest and confidence amid chaos.
a) God’s Hands Bring Comfort:
His touch soothes our fears and anxiety (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
b) God’s Hands Secure Our Salvation:
No power can snatch us away from His hands (John 10:28-29).
c) God’s Hands Sustain in Weakness:
When we feel faint, His hands give us strength (Isaiah 40:29-31).
d) God’s Hands Provide Eternal Assurance:
His hands assure us of our eternal inheritance (1 Peter 1:3-5).
Biblical Example:
Jesus calmed the storm with His word, bringing peace to the disciples (Mark 4:39).
4. THE HANDS OF GOD PROTECT FROM THE ENEMY
No force can overcome those who are in the hands of God.
a) God’s Hands Are a Shield:
He defends us from seen and unseen dangers (Psalm 91:11-12).
b) God’s Hands Are a Fortress:
His protection is impenetrable (Proverbs 18:10).
c) God’s Hands Frustrate Evil Plans:
He thwarts the devices of the wicked (Job 5:12).
d) God’s Hands Uphold Us in Battle:
He empowers us to overcome spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Biblical Example:
Daniel was protected in the lion’s den because of God’s mighty hand (Daniel 6:21-22).
5. OUR RESPONSE TO BEING IN GOD’S HANDS
Knowing we are safe in His hands, we are called to live in trust and surrender.
a) Trust in God Fully:
Place all your confidence in His unchanging hands (Proverbs 3:5-6).
b) Surrender to His Will:
Yield your life to His divine guidance (Romans 12:1).
c) Walk in Faith, Not Fear:
Knowing you are in His hands eliminates fear (2 Timothy 1:7).
d) Worship God with Gratitude:
Acknowledge His care and protection with thanksgiving (Psalm 100:4).
Biblical Example:
Job trusted in God’s hands, even in his suffering, declaring, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him” (Job 13:15).
CONCLUSION:
Being safe in the hands of God is the greatest assurance a believer can have. His hands are powerful, guiding, comforting, and protective. As we trust in Him, surrender to His will, and live by faith, we remain secure, knowing that nothing can separate us from His love. Let us take refuge in His hands, knowing that He will guide us safely to the end.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. I declare that you are safe in the hands of the Almighty.
2. No power of the enemy will pluck you from God’s hands.
3. God’s hands will guide you to victory in every battle.
4. You will experience divine peace and assurance in your life.
5. The protective hand of God will frustrate every evil plan against you.
6. God’s hands will uphold you in times of weakness.
7. You will walk in boldness, knowing you are secure in His hands.
8. God’s hands will provide clarity and direction for your path.
9. You will testify of God’s mighty hand of deliverance.
10. God’s hands will preserve you for His eternal glory.
