YOUR TIME OF CELEBRATION IS HERE

Title: YOUR TIME OF CELEBRATION IS HERE

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: Psalm 30:11-12
Supporting Texts: Ecclesiastes 3:1; Isaiah 61:3; Zephaniah 3:17

INTRODUCTION:
Life is made up of seasons, and each season brings its unique experiences. There is a time to mourn and a time to rejoice (Ecclesiastes 3:1). For those who have been in the valley of sorrow, pain, or waiting, God is declaring that your time of celebration is here. The joy of the Lord will replace your sorrow, and His glory will overshadow your shame.

1. GOD TURNS MOURNING INTO DANCING

a) God is the Master of Divine Reversals:
He specialises in turning situations around for good (Romans 8:28). He transformed Hannah's weeping into joy by giving her Samuel.

b) He Gives Beauty for Ashes:
God replaces sorrow with His glory (Isaiah 61:3). Whatever has caused tears in your life is being exchanged for rejoicing.

c) Testimonies Follow Divine Intervention:
Celebrate in advance, knowing that testimonies are inevitable when God steps in.

d) No Situation Is Permanent:
God’s timing brings hope and changes (Psalm 126:1-3). Seasons of sorrow will not last forever.

Biblical Example:
The woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25-34) celebrated her healing after years of affliction.

2. GOD RESTORES LOST YEARS

a) God’s Restoration Is Complete:
Joel 2:25 assures us that He restores what the enemy has stolen.

b) He Multiplies What Is Restored:
Like Job, God gives double for the trouble (Job 42:10).

c) Restoration Leads to Celebration:
When God restores, He crowns it with joy and blessings.

d) Restoration Is a Testimony:
Celebrate God's power even before the manifestation.

Biblical Example:
The prodigal son (Luke 15:11-24) was celebrated upon his return, showing the joy of restoration.

3. YOUR FAITH INITIATES CELEBRATION

a) Faith Declares Celebration Before Manifestation:
Rejoice even before seeing the answer (Habakkuk 3:17-19).

b) Praise Unlocks Celebration:
Paul and Silas praised God in prison, and their chains broke (Acts 16:25-26).

c) Faith Changes Perspective:
With faith, you see challenges as opportunities for God to work.

d) God Honours Bold Faith:
He responds to those who celebrate in expectation of His move.

Biblical Example:
Abraham rejoiced at the promise of Isaac (Romans 4:20-21).

4. DIVINE FAVOUR BRINGS CELEBRATION

a) Favour Opens Unseen Doors:
Favour from God accelerates breakthroughs (Psalm 5:12).

b) God Lifts the Humble:
Celebrate knowing God exalts those who trust Him (1 Peter 5:6).

c) Favour Eliminates Labour Without Results:
Your hard work is crowned with success when God’s hand is upon you.

d) Favour Causes Your Enemies to Celebrate You:
God prepares a table for you in their presence (Psalm 23:5).

Biblical Example:
Joseph was celebrated in Egypt after enduring years of rejection and hardship (Genesis 41:39-41).

5. GOD'S GLORY IS THE ULTIMATE CELEBRATION

a) His Glory Is Manifested in Your Life:
God’s presence changes everything, bringing undeniable joy (Isaiah 60:1).

b) Celebrate His Mercy and Grace:
His mercies are new every morning, and His grace abounds toward you.

c) Glory Elevates You Above Your Peers:
God’s glory sets you apart for honour.

d) God’s Glory Brings Fulfilment of Promises:
Rejoice in the confidence that His word will never fail.

Biblical Example:
The Israelites celebrated God’s glory after crossing the Red Sea (Exodus 15:1-2).

CONCLUSION:
Your time of celebration is here because God has declared it. As you step into this new season, rejoice in His goodness, expect His intervention, and testify to His faithfulness. He has turned your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy.
