INTRODUCTION:
A supernatural visitation is an encounter with God’s presence that transforms lives, brings revelation, and releases divine purpose. In the Bible, moments of visitation are often times when God comes to deliver, reveal Himself, and shift situations in a person’s life. As we enter this year, we must position ourselves to experience divine visitations that will change our lives forever. God’s visitation is not just about divine encounters, but also about awakening destinies, bringing solutions, and fulfilling promises.
1. UNDERSTANDING SUPERNATURAL VISITATION
a) Divine Encounter:
A supernatural visitation is a moment when God manifests His presence in an extraordinary way.
Luke 1:28 – The angel visited Mary, announcing the birth of Jesus.
b) God’s Intentions to Change Situations:
Visitation comes to bring about a shift in our circumstances, positioning us for breakthrough.
Luke 19:44 – Jesus’ visitation to Jerusalem brought judgment because they missed the appointed time of visitation.
c) Visitation of His Glory and Power:
In times of visitation, God releases His glory and power to bring change.
John 1:14 – "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us."
d) A Time of Revelation:
Supernatural visitations often come with divine revelations that unlock purpose and destiny.
Revelation 3:20 – "Behold, I stand at the door and knock."
e) Biblical Example:
The visitation of the angel to Gideon (Judges 6:12) confirmed that God was with him and destined him for victory.
2. THE PURPOSE OF A SUPERNATURAL VISITATION
a) Bringing Divine Instructions:
God often visits His people to give them direction and purpose.
Matthew 18:20 – "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
b) Deliverance and Healing:
Divine visitation brings deliverance from oppression and healing in times of affliction.
Luke 7:16 – Jesus visited a widow’s house and raised her son from the dead.
c) The Fulfillment of Prophecy:
A supernatural visitation is often the time when God fulfills the promises made to His people.
Luke 1:57 – The visitation of Elizabeth’s pregnancy fulfilled God’s promise.
d) Establishing God’s Will on Earth:
When God visits, He sets in motion His divine will, often in opposition to the enemy’s agenda.
Isaiah 9:6 – The birth of Christ, a visitation of the Savior.
e) Biblical Example:
The visitations of God to Abraham (Genesis 18) brought clarity about his future and the birth of Isaac, a fulfillment of God’s covenant promise.
3. THE CONDITIONS FOR SUPERNATURAL VISITATION
a) Open Hearts and Minds:
A willingness to receive God's visitation is essential to encountering Him.
Revelation 3:20 – “If any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him.”
b) Persistent Faith:
Faith activates God’s visitation in our lives, especially during challenging times.
Luke 8:48 – The woman with the issue of blood, who received healing because of her persistent faith.
c) Obedience to God’s Instructions:
God visits those who walk in obedience to His will.
Luke 1:38 – Mary’s willingness to submit to God's will led to the divine visitation of the Holy Spirit.
d) Pursuit of God’s Presence:
A longing for God's presence draws His visitation.
Psalm 27:8 – "When Thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek."
e) Biblical Example:
Zacharias and Elizabeth (Luke 1:13-15) were blessed with a visitation because of their faithful obedience and prayers.
4. EXPERIENCING SUPERNATURAL VISITATION IN YOUR LIFE
a) Engage in Intense Prayer and Fasting:
Seek God through prayer and fasting to invite His supernatural presence.
Daniel 10:12 – Daniel’s prayers and fasting triggered divine intervention and visitation.
b) Live in Expectancy:
Be expectant and open to God visiting you at any time.
Luke 2:25-32 – Simeon was expectantly waiting for the Messiah’s visitation and was blessed to see Him.
c) Worship and Praise:
Engage in consistent worship and praise, which attract God’s presence.
Psalm 22:3 – "But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel."
d) Stay Sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s Leading:
Be sensitive to God’s voice and the Holy Spirit’s guidance during seasons of visitation.
John 14:26 – The Holy Spirit will teach you and bring things to your remembrance.
e) Biblical Example:
Saul’s encounter with God (1 Samuel 10:6-10) was a divine visitation that transformed his life and position.
5. THE IMPACT OF SUPERNATURAL VISITATION
a) Transformation of Life and Destiny:
A supernatural visitation changes the course of a person’s life and destiny.
Luke 19:9 – Jesus’ visitation to Zacchaeus’ house led to a life of repentance and restoration.
b) Divine Provision:
God’s visitation brings provision where there seems to be none.
1 Kings 17:9-16 – Elijah’s visitation to the widow of Zarephath resulted in supernatural provision.
c) Breakthrough and Deliverance:
Every encounter with God’s visitation brings breakthroughs and deliverance from oppression.
Luke 8:49-56 – Jesus raised Jairus’ daughter from the dead.
d) Strengthening and Empowerment:
God’s visitation strengthens believers and empowers them for greater works.
Acts 4:31 – The Holy Spirit’s visitation empowered the apostles for bold witness.
e) Biblical Example:
The visitation of the Lord to Moses in the burning bush (Exodus 3:2-10) marked the beginning of his calling to deliver Israel from Egypt.
CONCLUSION:
This year, as you position yourself through prayer, obedience, and faith, expect supernatural visitations from God. These divine encounters will bring transformation, direction, provision, and breakthroughs in your life. Open your heart to God’s move, and watch as He visits you in mighty and unexpected ways.

10. Father, visit my family, my health, and my finances this year with supernatural favor.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. This is your year of supernatural visitation.
2. Every area of your life that has been barren will receive a divine touch this year.
3. God will visit you with miracles, signs, and wonders.
4. Your destiny is shifting as God visits you this year.
5. Divine provision and breakthroughs are coming your way through God’s visitation.
6. Every door that has been closed in your life will be opened by God’s visitation.
7. Expect a supernatural turn around in your health, family, and finances.
8. This year, God will come through for you in ways that you never imagined.
9. God’s visitation will empower you to walk in your full purpose.
10. Your life will never remain the same after God’s visitation this year.
