INTRODUCTION:
The name “Emmanuel,” meaning “God with us,” is a profound declaration of God’s love and commitment to humanity. This promise, fulfilled in the birth of Jesus Christ, signifies that God did not remain distant but came to dwell among His people. Understanding the power of Emmanuel transforms how we see God’s presence in our lives, especially in times of challenge, transition, or celebration. Let us explore the power and implications of “God with us.”

1. THE PROMISE OF EMMANUEL

a) A Prophecy Fulfilled:
Isaiah prophesied the coming of Emmanuel, fulfilled in the birth of Jesus (Isaiah 7:14).

b) God’s Plan for Redemption:
Emmanuel signifies God’s intervention to redeem mankind from sin (Genesis 3:15).
