INTRODUCTION:
Greatness is the fulfilment of God’s purpose for your life, manifesting in ways that glorify Him. To be positioned for greatness is to align your life with divine principles, trust God’s timing, and remain steadfast despite challenges. God has destined every believer for greatness, but there are principles to follow and steps to take to fully walk into it.

1. DISCOVERING YOUR PURPOSE

a) God’s Unique Plan:
Every individual has a specific purpose ordained by God (Jeremiah 1:5).

b) Seeking Divine Direction:
Understanding God’s purpose begins with a deep relationship with Him (Proverbs 3:5-6).

c) Spiritual Gifts:
Identify and develop the spiritual gifts God has given you for His glory (1 Corinthians 12:7).

d) Prayer and the Word:
The Word of God and prayer are vital for clarity of purpose (Psalm 119:105).

Biblical Example: Joseph discovered his divine purpose through dreams and walked faithfully into it (Genesis 37:5-11).

2. BUILDING CHARACTER FOR GREATNESS

a) Integrity:
A life of integrity pleases God and draws His favour (Proverbs 11:3).

b) Humility:
Humility is a hallmark of true greatness (James 4:10).

c) Patience:
Wait for God’s timing with patience and trust (Habakkuk 2:3).

d) Faithfulness in Little:
Greatness often begins with small, faithful acts (Luke 16:10).

Biblical Example: Esther displayed courage, humility, and wisdom, which led her to greatness (Esther 4:14).

3. OVERCOMING OBSTACLES TO GREATNESS

a) Resisting Distractions:
Focus on God’s plan despite the noise around you (Philippians 3:14).

b) Spiritual Warfare:
Greatness often involves spiritual battles; rely on God’s armour (Ephesians 6:12-18).

c) Dealing with Opposition:
Trust God to fight your battles against adversaries (Isaiah 54:17).

d) Perseverance in Trials:
Trials are stepping stones to your destiny (James 1:2-4).

Biblical Example: David overcame Goliath and many challenges to ascend to the throne (1 Samuel 17:45-50).

4. WALKING IN DIVINE FAVOUR

a) Grace Over Effort:
Favour accelerates your journey to greatness (Psalm 44:3).

b) Faith and Obedience:
Faith in God and obedience to His Word activate His favour (Hebrews 11:6).

c) Connecting to Destiny Helpers:
God will position people to help you fulfil your purpose (Ruth 2:8-10).

d) Thanksgiving:
Gratitude unlocks greater blessings and favour (Psalm 100:4).

Biblical Example: Nehemiah found favour before the king to rebuild Jerusalem (Nehemiah 2:1-8).

5. STAYING IN THE PLACE OF GREATNESS

a) Abiding in Christ:
Stay connected to God, the source of your greatness (John 15:5).

b) Continuous Growth:
Keep growing spiritually, mentally, and emotionally (2 Peter 3:18).

c) Maintaining a Life of Prayer:
Prayer sustains and protects your position (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

d) Impacting Lives:
Use your greatness to bless others and glorify God (Matthew 5:16).

Biblical Example: Solomon maintained greatness by asking for wisdom and staying connected to God (1 Kings 3:7-14).

CONCLUSION:
Greatness is God’s will for His children, but it requires deliberate positioning through purpose, character, and alignment with His plans. Trust God, obey His Word, and remain steadfast. In due time, He will lift you to heights you never imagined.

1. Lord, reveal Your purpose for my life and help me walk in it.

2. Father, build in me the character needed for greatness.

3. Every obstacle to my greatness, be removed in Jesus' name.

4. Lord, position me for divine favour and connect me to destiny helpers.

5. Father, grant me patience and faith as I await Your perfect timing.

6. Lord, empower me to overcome every opposition and challenge.

7. Father, help me stay in the place of greatness by Your grace.

8. Lord, let Your light shine through me to impact lives for Your glory.

9. Father, I declare that I will fulfil my destiny in Jesus' name.

10. Thank You, Lord, for making me great according to Your plan.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. You will discover and fulfil God’s purpose for your life.

2. Every obstacle to your greatness is removed in Jesus' name.

3. The favour of God will position you for divine elevation.

4. You will overcome every challenge and opposition on your path to greatness.

5. Your destiny helpers will locate and assist you.

6. The Lord will grant you the patience and faith to wait for His perfect timing.

7. You will stay in the place of greatness by the grace of God.

8. Your life will be a blessing and a testimony to others.

9. You will go from glory to glory, fulfilling your divine destiny.

10. The greatness God has destined for you will manifest without delay.
