By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Supporting Texts: 1 Peter 5:8, Matthew 13:25, Daniel 10:12-13, Zechariah 3:1, Isaiah 54:17

INTRODUCTION:
Testimonies are the evidence of God’s faithfulness in our lives, but there are forces, both spiritual and physical, that seek to hijack them. These hijackers aim to delay, steal, or destroy the manifestations of God’s blessings. This message examines the hijackers of testimonies, their strategies, and how to overcome them.

1. WHO ARE THE HIJACKERS OF TESTIMONY?

a) Satan and His Agents:
The devil and his cohorts seek to hinder God’s blessings (Daniel 10:12-13).

b) Envious Individuals:
Some people operate as physical hijackers, driven by envy and jealousy (Genesis 37:19-20).

c) Spiritual Wickedness:
Evil powers and witchcraft manipulate destinies to frustrate testimonies (Ephesians 6:12).

d) Spirit of Accusation:
The accuser of the brethren uses sin and guilt to rob people of testimonies (Zechariah 3:1-3).

e) Biblical Example:
Haman tried to hijack Mordecai’s honour and testimony but failed (Esther 6:6-10).

2. SIGNS THAT YOUR TESTIMONY IS UNDER ATTACK

a) Unusual Delays:
Prolonged waiting without explanation (Daniel 10:13).

b) Repeated Near-Success Syndromes:
Getting close to breakthroughs but failing at the last moment (Isaiah 66:9).

c) Unexplainable Stagnation:
Inability to move forward despite effort (Job 1:13-19).

d) Losses and Setbacks:
Constant loss of what was once a blessing (John 10:10).

e) Biblical Example:
The Israelites experienced delayed testimony when Pharaoh pursued them after their release (Exodus 14:5-10).

3. STRATEGIES OF TESTIMONY HIJACKERS

a) Sowing Tares Among Wheat:
Hijackers introduce distractions to frustrate blessings (Matthew 13:25).

b) Exploiting Ignorance:
Lack of spiritual vigilance gives them room to operate (Hosea 4:6).

c) Using Fear and Doubt:
Fear and doubt can cripple faith and testimony (2 Timothy 1:7).

d) Deploying Spiritual Monitoring Spirits:
They keep watch to frustrate breakthroughs (Psalm 37:32).

e) Biblical Example:
The Philistines monitored and attacked Isaac’s wells to hijack his blessing (Genesis 26:15-22).

4. HOW TO DEAL WITH TESTIMONY HIJACKERS

a) Engage in Fervent Prayers:
Persistent prayer dismantles every hindrance (Luke 18:1).

b) Plead the Blood of Jesus:
The blood is a powerful weapon against spiritual hijackers (Revelation 12:11).

c) Walk in Holiness and Obedience:
A righteous life shuts the door against hijackers (Psalm 84:11).

d) Stand on God’s Promises:
Declare and hold on to God’s Word until the testimony manifests (Isaiah 55:11).

e) Biblical Example:
Elijah dealt with spiritual opposition to ensure rain fell as God promised (1 Kings 18:41-45).

5. THE OUTCOME OF OVERCOMING HIJACKERS

a) Restoration of Blessings:
God restores what the enemy has stolen (Joel 2:25-27).

b) Testimonies Become Evident:
Your testimony will glorify God and silence the enemy (Psalm 40:3).

c) Overflowing Joy:
Victory over hijackers brings divine celebration (Psalm 126:1-3).

d) Greater Breakthroughs:
Defeating hijackers leads to bigger blessings (Job 42:10).

e) Biblical Example:
Job overcame the attacks of the hijackers and received double blessings (Job 42:10-12).

CONCLUSION:
The hijackers of testimony are real, but they cannot prevail over a child of God who knows their identity and weapons of warfare. Stand firm in prayer, holiness, and faith, and watch God release every testimony meant for you.
