JABEZ PRAYERS: LORD ENLARGE ME IN 2025

INTRODUCTION:
In 1 Chronicles 4:9-10, we find the prayer of Jabez—a man whose name means "pain" or "sorrow." Despite his unfortunate start, Jabez was bold enough to ask God to change his story by enlarging his territory and removing the limitations on his life. This prayer reflects the desire for God's favour, expansion, and protection. As we look ahead to 2025, let this prayer be our cry for God's divine enlargement in every area of our lives—spiritually, financially, relationally, and in our ministries. The God who answered Jabez is still able to answer us today.

1. THE NEED FOR ENLARGEMENT IN 2025

a) Breaking Free from Limitations:
Jabez recognised that his circumstances were limiting his potential, so he called upon God for enlargement. In the same way, we must break free from limitations—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—that hold us back from fulfilling our God-given purpose.

b) Enlarging Your Capacity for God:
Isaiah 54:2-3 tells us to enlarge the place of our tent. This involves making room for more of God in our lives, allowing Him to increase our capacity to receive blessings and handle greater responsibilities.

c) Pursuing Greater Influence:
Jabez prayed for his territory to be enlarged, which speaks to having greater influence and impact. As believers, we should seek God’s enlargement so that we can influence more lives for His kingdom.

2. SEEKING DIVINE BLESSINGS AND PROTECTION

a) The Power of a Simple Prayer:
Jabez's prayer was short but powerful. It reminds us that God listens to sincere prayers of faith, and He can turn our situations around when we seek His intervention.

b) Divine Favour Brings Enlargement:
Psalm 18:36 says, "You enlarged my path under me." When God's favour is upon you, He enlarges your territory and opens new doors of opportunity. In 2025, seek God’s favour for enlargement in every area.

c) Asking for Divine Protection:
Jabez asked that God’s hand be with him and keep him from harm. As we experience enlargement, we must also ask for God’s protection from the enemy and from any pitfalls that come with success.

3. LIVING A LIFE OF INTEGRITY TO SUSTAIN ENLARGEMENT

a) Integrity is Key to Sustaining God's Blessings:
Deuteronomy 19:8-9 teaches that obedience to God is essential for enlargement. It’s not enough to receive blessings; we must live lives of integrity to maintain and grow them.

b) Guarding Against Pride:
As God enlarges you, beware of pride that can lead to downfall. Humility and dependence on God are vital to sustaining divine enlargement.

c) Giving Glory to God for Every Increase:
Every enlargement comes from God, and we must always give Him the glory for our success. Like Jabez, let us acknowledge that it is the hand of God that enlarges us.

4. HOW TO POSITION YOURSELF FOR ENLARGEMENT IN 2025

a) Pray with Faith and Expectation:
Like Jabez, pray boldly for enlargement. Expect God to answer your prayers for growth and increase in 2025.

b) Prepare for the Increase:
Enlarge your mindset, your faith, and your capacity to handle the blessings God is bringing. Get ready to step into greater responsibilities and opportunities.

c) Walk in Obedience to God's Word:
Obedience to God positions you for enlargement. Live according to His will, and you will experience divine favour and expansion in your life.

CONCLUSION:
The prayer of Jabez shows us that God is a God of enlargement. As we look toward 2025, let our prayer be, "Lord, enlarge me!" Whether it is in your ministry, business, relationships, or spiritual walk, God is able to take you beyond your current limits. Just as He granted Jabez’s request, God will hear your cry and enlarge your territory in 2025.

5. I decree that your territory shall be enlarged, and you will experience supernatural growth.

6. Every plan of the enemy to hinder your enlargement is destroyed in Jesus' name.
