WHEN GOD SHOWS UP, EVERYTHING CHANGES

INTRODUCTION:
God’s presence is the most powerful force in the universe. When God shows up, everything changes. Lives are transformed, healing flows, breakthroughs are unleashed, and the impossible becomes possible. Throughout Scripture, we see countless examples of what happens when God manifests His presence. In this sermon, we will explore the profound impact of God's presence in our lives and how it brings about radical transformation.

1. WHEN GOD SHOWS UP, HE BRINGS DIVINE VISITATION

a) God’s Presence Brings Miracles
Every time God showed up in the Bible, it was a time of miraculous intervention. Whether it was the healing of the sick, raising the dead, or providing for needs, God’s presence never leaves situations the same.

b) God's Presence Brings Healing and Deliverance
In Acts 2:1-4, when the Holy Spirit filled the believers, they were empowered to heal the sick and cast out demons. God's presence is synonymous with deliverance.

c) God’s Presence Brings Restoration
In the case of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32), the moment he returned to his father, restoration was immediate. He received forgiveness, a robe, and a feast.

d) God’s Presence Breaks Chains
Acts 16:25-26 shows how Paul and Silas’ praise brought down the walls of their prison. When God shows up, shackles of bondage and oppression are broken.

Biblical Example:
In Mark 5:25-34, the woman with the issue of blood experienced immediate healing when she touched Jesus. It wasn’t just her faith, but the presence of God that brought about her healing.

2. WHEN GOD SHOWS UP, HE TRANSFORMS LIVES

a) Radical Change in Character
God's presence refines and changes us. Saul became Paul when God showed up on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-18).

b) Transformation of Our Thinking
The power of God's presence renews our minds. Romans 12:2 tells us not to be conformed to the world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

c) God’s Presence Changes Our Desires
As we encounter God, our desires align with His will. We begin to seek the things that please Him rather than the things that please the flesh.

d) Divine Realignment
When God shows up, He realigns our purpose. Jonah's life was realigned when he encountered God’s call (Jonah 1:1-3).

Biblical Example:
The transformation of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10) is another great example. When Jesus showed up at his house, Zacchaeus went from being a tax collector to a man of integrity, promising to repay what he had stolen.

3. WHEN GOD SHOWS UP, HE TURNS SITUATIONS AROUND

a) Impossible Circumstances Are Made Possible
In the case of Lazarus (John 11:38-44), when Jesus showed up after Lazarus had been dead for four days, He called him out of the tomb, and he came back to life.

b) God’s Presence Brings Favor
When God shows up in your life, doors of favor open. Joseph’s story (Genesis 41) illustrates this – from a prisoner to the second-in-command in Egypt.

c) God Shows Up to Provide
In 1 Kings 17:8-16, God provided for Elijah, the widow, and her son through miraculous means. God’s presence is always accompanied by divine provision.

d) God Turns Negative Situations into Positive Outcomes
Job's life was transformed after he encountered God's restoration power (Job 42:10). What seemed like an end became a new beginning.

Biblical Example:
In Luke 5:17-26, when Jesus entered the house where the paralyzed man was, he not only encountered God’s presence but was miraculously healed. God’s presence turns our situations around for the better.

CONCLUSION:
When God shows up, everything changes. Our lives are never the same when we encounter His divine presence. Today, we have the privilege to invite God’s presence into our lives, and we can expect miracles, transformation, and divine turnarounds. Let your heart be open to God's visitation, for when He moves, there is no limit to what He can do.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, I invite Your presence into my life today.

2. I declare that every situation in my life will change because God is showing up.

3. Father, manifest Your glory in my life and bring about a divine turnaround.

4. Let every chain of oppression be broken by Your presence.

5. Lord, transform me from the inside out, and let my life reflect Your power.

6. Father, provide for me in miraculous ways as I encounter Your presence.

7. I pray for divine healing to flow into my body and spirit, in Jesus' name.

8. I declare that impossible situations in my life are turning around now.

9. Lord, fill my heart with Your peace and joy as Your presence fills my life.

10. I commit to walking in Your presence daily and being transformed by it.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. As you seek God's presence, you will experience a divine turnaround in every area of your life.

2. Every situation that seemed hopeless will be turned around as God's power moves in your life.

3. You will walk in divine favor and blessing as you encounter God's presence daily.

4. No matter how long you've been in a struggle, God's presence will bring forth a solution.

5. I declare that every sickness, pain, and sorrow will be erased in God's presence.

6. As God's presence fills your life, you will experience new opportunities and breakthroughs.

7. Your life will no longer be the same; divine transformation is your portion.

8. Expect God's provision in ways you never imagined.

9. The power of God’s presence will open doors of favor and promotion for you.

10. You will testify of the mighty things God has done in your life as He shows up for you.
