Supporting Texts: Isaiah 43:2, Psalm 46:1, Romans 8:31
INTRODUCTION:
When God is involved in our lives and situations, things change. His involvement makes the impossible possible and brings victory where there is defeat. When we rely on God's intervention, we are assured of His strength, guidance, and protection. This message explores what happens when God is involved in our battles, decisions, and life circumstances.
1. WHEN GOD IS INVOLVED, FEAR DISAPPEARS
a) God’s Presence Removes Fear
Fear is a natural human response, but when God steps in, He assures us of His presence and power (Isaiah 41:10).
b) Faith in God Overcomes Fear
Faith rises when we trust that God is in control, no matter the circumstances. With God on our side, there is no need to fear (Psalm 23:4).
c) God Fights on Our Behalf
Just as God told the Israelites to stand still and watch His salvation, He fights for us when we trust Him (Exodus 14:13-14).
d) God’s Power is Greater than the Enemy
The power of God is far greater than any opposition we face. With Him involved, no force can prevail against us (Romans 8:31).
Biblical Example:
David overcame Goliath because he knew God was involved in the battle (1 Samuel 17:45-47).
2. WHEN GOD IS INVOLVED, THE IMPOSSIBLE BECOMES POSSIBLE
a) God’s Power Defies Natural Laws
With God, even the impossible becomes possible, as His power is limitless (Luke 1:37).
b) Miracles Happen When God Steps In
When God intervenes, miraculous breakthroughs take place that defy human understanding (John 11:43-44).
c) God’s Timing is Perfect
God's involvement brings timely intervention, even when it seems like all hope is lost (John 2:1-11).
d) Trusting God’s Plan Leads to Victory
Even in difficult situations, we must trust that God has a plan for our good, and He will make a way (Jeremiah 29:11).
Biblical Example:
The Red Sea was parted when God was involved, making a way for the Israelites to escape their enemies (Exodus 14:21-22).
3. WHEN GOD IS INVOLVED, PEACE ABOUNDS
a) God Gives Peace in the Storm
When God is involved in our lives, He brings peace that surpasses all understanding, even in the midst of chaos (Philippians 4:7).
b) God’s Presence Brings Calm
When we know God is involved, we can rest in His presence, confident that He is in control (Mark 4:39).
c) Anxiety is Replaced with Assurance
God's involvement calms our anxieties because we trust in His ability to handle every situation (1 Peter 5:7).
d) Divine Peace Brings Comfort
The peace of God brings comfort to our hearts, knowing that He is working all things for our good (Romans 8:28).
Biblical Example:
When Jesus was in the boat with His disciples during the storm, His presence brought peace and calm (Mark 4:35-41).
4. WHEN GOD IS INVOLVED, RESTORATION OCCURS
a) God Restores What is Lost
When God is involved, He restores what has been lost or taken, bringing divine compensation (Joel 2:25).
b) Healing and Wholeness Come with God’s Involvement
God brings healing to broken lives, restoring them to a place of wholeness (Jeremiah 30:17).
c) God Turns Ashes into Beauty
God can take the most difficult circumstances and turn them into something beautiful (Isaiah 61:3).
d) God’s Restoration Brings Overflow
When God restores, it is not just to the original state but in abundance, with overflowing blessings (Psalm 23:5).
Biblical Example:
Job experienced full restoration from God, receiving double what he had lost after his trials (Job 42:10).
5. WHEN GOD IS INVOLVED, VICTORY IS ASSURED
a) God Guarantees Our Victory
With God involved, we can be sure of victory in every battle we face (1 Corinthians 15:57).
b) God’s Power Ensures Success
Success comes not by our might but by the power of God working on our behalf (Zechariah 4:6).
c) God’s Wisdom Leads to Success
God's wisdom guides us to make the right decisions that lead to success (Proverbs 3:5-6).
d) God’s Plan Cannot be Stopped
No matter the opposition, God's plan will always prevail (Isaiah 14:27).
Biblical Example:
Gideon and his 300 men experienced victory over a vast army because God was involved (Judges 7:19-22).
CONCLUSION:
When God is involved in our lives, He brings peace, restoration, and victory. No matter the challenges we face, when we involve God in our battles, we are assured of His guidance and power to overcome.
