INTRODUCTION:
Divine help is an essential aspect of our faith journey, reminding us that we are never alone in our struggles. God is always ready to assist and support us in times of need. This sermon explores the nature of divine help, its sources, and how we can access this help in our daily lives.
1. UNDERSTANDING DIVINE HELP
Divine help is God’s intervention in our lives, providing support and guidance in times of need.
a) Nature of Divine Help: It is rooted in God’s love and faithfulness (Psalm 46:1).
b) Types of Help: Includes spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial support (2 Corinthians 9:8).
c) The Role of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit aids us in our weakness (Romans 8:26).
d) God’s Promises of Help: Scripture is filled with assurances of God’s support (Isaiah 40:29).
Biblical Example: Moses received divine help from God when he felt inadequate to lead the Israelites (Exodus 3:11-12).
2. SOURCES OF DIVINE HELP
Recognizing where our help comes from is crucial for faith and dependence on God.
a) Help from the Lord: The ultimate source of our help is God Himself (Psalm 124:8).

c) Humbling Ourselves: Acknowledge our dependence on God (James 4:10).
d) Obedience to God’s Leading: Follow God’s guidance to experience His help (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Biblical Example: The woman with the issue of blood sought Jesus and received healing (Mark 5:25-34).
5. LIVING IN THE LIGHT OF DIVINE HELP
Understanding and experiencing divine help should change how we live.
a) Confidence in Challenges: Knowing God is our helper gives us boldness (Psalm 27:1).
b) Gratitude for God’s Assistance: Acknowledge and thank God for His help (Psalm 100:4).
