INTRODUCTION:
The phrase "My money cometh" is a declaration of faith and expectation in God's provision and abundance. As believers, we are called to trust in God's promises for our financial needs. This sermon will explore how we can position ourselves to receive financial blessings and abundance from God.
1. UNDERSTANDING GOD AS OUR PROVIDER
a) God’s Sovereignty Over Wealth
Deuteronomy 8:18 – God gives us the ability to produce wealth; He is the source of all provision.
b) Our Identity in Christ
Philippians 4:19 – Our God shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory; understanding our identity helps us claim His promises.
c) Faith in God’s Promises
Hebrews 11:6 – Without faith, it is impossible to please God; believing in His provision opens the door to blessings.
d) God’s Faithfulness in Past Provisions
Psalm 37:25 – I have never seen the righteous forsaken; remembering His past faithfulness builds our trust.

The Israelites in the wilderness, who received manna from heaven (Exodus 16), demonstrate God's miraculous provision.
2. POSITIONING YOURSELF FOR FINANCIAL BLESSINGS
a) Sowing and Reaping
2 Corinthians 9:6 – Whoever sows generously will also reap generously; our financial practices directly affect our blessings.
b) Giving with the Right Heart
2 Corinthians 9:7 – God loves a cheerful giver; our attitude in giving influences our harvest.
c) Avoiding Debt and Financial Mismanagement
Proverbs 22:7 – The borrower is servant to the lender; wise financial management is crucial for freedom.
d) Seeking Godly Wisdom
James 1:5 – If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God; seeking wisdom in financial decisions leads to blessings.
Biblical Example:
The widow’s oil (2 Kings 4:1-7) demonstrates how God blesses our faith and obedience, even in scarcity.
3. THE POWER OF DECLARATIONS AND CONFESSIONS
a) Speaking Life Over Your Finances
Proverbs 18:21 – The power of life and death is in the tongue; our words shape our reality.
b) Declaring God’s Promises
Numbers 14:28 – As you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you; speaking His promises activates His power.
c) Faith-Filled Declarations
Mark 11:23 – Whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed," and does not doubt; our declarations align with our faith.
d) Consistency in Declarations
Psalm 107:2 – Let the redeemed of the Lord say so; consistent declarations reinforce our faith.
Biblical Example:
The woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:28) declared her healing, which led to her miracle.
4. OVERCOMING SPIRITUAL BLOCKAGES TO PROSPERITY
a) Identifying Generational Curses
Exodus 20:5 – God visits the iniquity of the fathers; breaking generational curses is vital for financial freedom.
b) Repenting of Wrong Attitudes
Malachi 3:8 – Will a man rob God?; ensuring our hearts are right opens the way for blessings.
c) Understanding the Importance of Stewardship
Matthew 25:21 – Well done, good and faithful servant; good stewardship over little leads to greater blessings.
d) Breaking the Spirit of Poverty
Deuteronomy 28:12 – The Lord will open the heavens; breaking the spirit of poverty allows for divine abundance.

Job, who lost everything but remained faithful, was restored abundantly (Job 42:10).
5. LIVING IN THE BLESSING OF GOD
a) Recognizing Daily Blessings

b) Sharing Your Blessings
Acts 20:35 – It is more blessed to give than to receive; sharing blessings expands our capacity to receive.
c) Being a Blessing to Others
Genesis 12:2 – I will bless you, and you will be a blessing; our financial abundance should bless others.
d) Living with Generosity
Proverbs 11:25 – A generous person will prosper; generosity attracts God’s favor.
Biblical Example:
The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) demonstrated how helping others can lead to blessings in return.
CONCLUSION:
As believers, we are called to declare that our money cometh as we trust in God’s provision, practice wise stewardship, and speak life over our finances. Let us position ourselves to receive the abundance that God has promised us.
