INTRODUCTION:
The name of Jesus is not just a name; it is power. In every situation, the name of Jesus is a powerful tool for salvation, deliverance, healing, and victory. Throughout the Bible, we see that calling on His name brings transformation and supernatural breakthroughs. Today, we’ll explore the authority and power encapsulated in the name of Jesus, why it is above every other name, and how believers can activate this power.

1. THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES

a) The Authority of His Name:
The name of Jesus carries authority because it is divinely bestowed by God (Philippians 2:9).

b) Victory in His Name:
Every knee bows to His name, whether in heaven, on earth, or under the earth (Philippians 2:10).

c) Salvation in His Name:
Salvation is found in no other name (Acts 4:12).

d) Power to Answer Prayers:
Jesus grants us the right to ask in His name (John 14:13-14).

Biblical Example: The apostles healed and cast out demons in Jesus’ name (Acts 3:6, Mark 16:17).

2. POWER FOR HEALING AND DELIVERANCE

a) The Healer’s Name:
The name of Jesus brings healing to the sick and broken (Matthew 8:17).

b) Freedom in His Name:
Demons flee at His name, bringing deliverance (Mark 16:17).

c) Restoration through His Name:
Jesus restores what was lost through His powerful name (Luke 19:10).

d) Refuge in His Name:
His name is a strong tower, bringing protection and safety (Proverbs 18:10).

Biblical Example: Jesus healed the sick and raised Lazarus from the dead by His authority (John 11:43).

3. THE NAME THAT PROTECTS AND DEFENDS

a) Defender of the Weak:
Jesus’ name is a defense for the vulnerable and oppressed (Psalm 46:1).

b) Power Against Evil:
His name is a powerful shield against the forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:10).

c) Protector of His People:
The name of Jesus is a fortress for believers in times of trouble (Psalm 91:2).

d) Advocate in Heaven:
Jesus intercedes on behalf of the saints in the name of righteousness (Hebrews 7:25).

Biblical Example: David defeated Goliath by calling on the name of the Lord (1 Samuel 17:45).

4. JESUS IS KNOWN BY MANY NAMES IN VARIOUS PROFESSIONS

As we close, remember that Jesus is known in every profession and walk of life. Here are some names He is called:

1. Architects call Him The Chief Cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20).

2. Doctors call Him The Great Physician (Matthew 9:12).

3. Farmers call Him The Lord of the Harvest (Matthew 9:38).

4. Teachers call Him The Master Teacher (John 3:2).

5. Shepherds call Him The Good Shepherd (John 10:11).

6. Judges call Him The Righteous Judge (2 Timothy 4:8).

7. Lawyers call Him Our Advocate (1 John 2:1).

8. Fishermen call Him The Fisher of Men (Matthew 4:19).

9. Gardeners call Him The True Vine (John 15:1).

10. Carpenters call Him The Door (John 10:9).

11. Builders call Him The Foundation (1 Corinthians 3:11).

12. Pilots call Him The Guide (Psalm 48:14).

13. Soldiers call Him The Captain of Salvation (Hebrews 2:10).

14. Scientists call Him The Wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24).

15. Bankers call Him The Hidden Treasure (Matthew 13:44).

No matter your profession or need, the name of Jesus is relevant, powerful, and life-changing. May we always call upon His name with reverence, faith, and expectation.

CONCLUSION:
The name of Jesus carries unparalleled power, authority, and significance. When we call on His name, we engage heaven’s authority to bring change to situations. As believers, we should never hesitate to invoke His name, whether for healing, protection, deliverance, or salvation. His name is our greatest weapon and strongest foundation.

5. No evil shall come near you because of the name of Jesus.

6. Every mountain before you is made plain by the name of Jesus.

7. The name of Jesus brings peace to every storm in your life.

8. Every closed door shall open by the power in Jesus’ name.

9. You shall walk in divine protection through the name of Jesus.
