Despite a severe famine in the land, Isaac chose to trust God and sow in obedience. This act of faith resulted in a bountiful harvest and a powerful testament to God’s provision. Today, we’ll explore how we can transition from scarcity to abundance by learning from Isaac’s example.

1. THE CONDITION: SCARCITY IN THE LAND

a) The Famine in the Land (Genesis 26:1) 
Isaac faced a severe famine in the land, a situation that mirrors extreme scarcity. Famine brought with it a lack of resources, threatening survival and prosperity. In times of scarcity, it’s easy to be overwhelmed by the apparent lack and to act out of fear rather than faith.

b) The Temptation to Flee (Genesis 26:2)
