TITLE: DIVINE HEALTH AND LONGEVITY ARE YOUR PORTION

INTRODUCTION:
Divine health and longevity are part of God’s promises for His children. As believers, we are not meant to live in fear of sickness or premature death. God’s Word assures us that He desires us to live in good health and fulfil the number of our days on earth. In this sermon, we will explore biblical principles for walking in divine health and longevity.

1. GOD’S PROMISE OF HEALTH

a) Health is God’s Will:
God’s desire for His children is to live in good health (3 John 1:2).

b) Covenant of Healing:
God has made a covenant of healing with His people, promising to take sickness away from us (Exodus 23:25).

c) Jesus, Our Healer:
Through Jesus’ sacrifice, we are healed by His stripes (Isaiah 53:5).

d) Faith in God’s Healing Power:
We must believe and stand in faith for the manifestation of divine health (Mark 5:34).

Biblical Example:
The woman with the issue of blood received divine healing because of her faith in Jesus (Mark 5:25-34).

2. WALKING IN DIVINE HEALTH

a) Obedience to God’s Word:
Following God’s commands brings life and health to our bodies (Proverbs 3:1-2).

b) Healthy Living:
Divine health does not negate the need for healthy practices such as proper nutrition and rest (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

c) Renewing Your Mind:
A renewed mind through God’s Word will help you walk in divine health (Romans 12:2).

d) Power of Prayer and Confession:
Confess the promises of health and pray for divine protection over your body (James 5:14-15).

Biblical Example:
Hezekiah prayed for healing and God extended his life by 15 years (Isaiah 38:1-5).

3. GOD’S PROMISE OF LONGEVITY

a) Satisfaction of Long Life:
God promises to satisfy His children with long life (Psalm 91:16).

b) Fulfilling the Number of Your Days:
God’s plan is for you to live a full life and fulfil your divine purpose (Exodus 23:26).

c) Honouring Parents:
Honouring your father and mother is a key to longevity (Ephesians 6:2-3).

d) Walking in Wisdom:
Wisdom leads to long life, while foolishness cuts it short (Proverbs 3:13-16).

Biblical Example:
Abraham lived a long and full life, fulfilling God’s promises to him (Genesis 25:7-8).

4. DIVINE PROTECTION AGAINST SICKNESS AND PREMATURE DEATH

a) Protection from the Enemy:
God’s Word assures us that no weapon formed against us, including sickness, shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

b) Power in the Blood of Jesus:
The blood of Jesus provides protection from sickness and death (Revelation 12:11).

c) Angelic Protection:
Angels are assigned to protect us and keep us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11-12).

d) Supernatural Immunity:
God provides supernatural immunity to His people in times of danger (Psalm 91:7).

Biblical Example:
The Israelites were protected from the plagues in Egypt, and none of them fell ill (Exodus 12:13).

5. PRACTICAL STEPS TO MAINTAINING DIVINE HEALTH AND LONGEVITY

a) Living a Life of Faith:
Trusting God and standing on His promises is crucial for maintaining divine health (Mark 11:24).

b) Staying in God’s Presence:
Abiding in God’s presence brings life and healing (Psalm 16:11).

c) Living a Holy Life:
Holiness is key to experiencing God’s fullness in health and longevity (1 Peter 1:15-16).

d) Declaring God’s Word Daily:
Speak life and health over yourself through daily confessions (Proverbs 18:21).

Biblical Example:
Caleb at the age of 85 was still strong and healthy, ready to conquer the promised land (Joshua 14:10-12).

CONCLUSION:
Divine health and longevity are your covenant rights as a child of God. By standing on God’s promises, walking in obedience, and maintaining your faith, you can experience a long, healthy, and fulfilling life. Declare today that divine health and long life are your portion!

6. Father, I cancel every evil plot of the enemy against my health in Jesus' name.

7. Lord, I declare that Your healing power flows through my body daily.

8. Father, I decree that I will live and not die, and I will declare Your works.

9. Lord, help me to make wise decisions that promote health and longevity in my life.

10. Father, I receive divine protection from every form of sickness and premature death.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

1. I declare that divine health is your portion all the days of your life!

2. You will live to see the fulfilment of every promise God has spoken over your life.

3. Every plan of sickness and premature death against you is cancelled in Jesus’ name.

4. The strength of God will fill your body, and you will walk in vitality and health.

5. I declare that the number of your days will be fulfilled according to God’s Word.

6. No weapon of disease will prosper against you; you are covered by the blood of Jesus.

7. You will live to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

8. The power of God’s Word will sustain you in health and long life.

9. You are shielded by the angelic host from every attack of sickness or death.

10. Divine strength, health, and longevity are your portion in Jesus' name!
