Title: MY MONTH OF UNSTOPPABLE PROGRESS

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: Philippians 1:6
Supporting Texts: Isaiah 43:19, Genesis 26:12-14, Proverbs 4:18

INTRODUCTION
Unstoppable progress means moving forward despite obstacles and challenges. It’s the kind of progress that no man, situation, or enemy can halt. In life, we all desire to make progress in our spiritual walk, career, family, and ministry. The good news is that God has ordained His children to experience progress that is unstoppable, where barriers are broken, and divine favour opens new doors.

This month is your season for unstoppable progress. As long as God is involved, nothing can hold back your advancement. Philippians 1:6 reminds us that "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion." God's purpose in your life will not be delayed or disrupted. This is the time to walk in confidence, knowing that your progress is assured in Christ.

1. PROGRESS IS GOD'S PLAN FOR YOU

a) God’s Will is Progress, Not Stagnation
The will of God for His children is that we keep moving forward. Progress is a kingdom principle, and God delights in seeing us grow and expand in every area of life. Proverbs 4:18 says, "The path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day." This means our lives are meant to experience continuous advancement and improvement.

b) Spiritual and Physical Progress
Unstoppable progress applies to both spiritual and physical areas. As we grow in our relationship with God, we experience spiritual maturity. This in turn leads to progress in our daily lives, whether in career, business, family, or ministry. In Genesis 26:12-14, Isaac experienced significant progress even in a time of famine because the hand of God was upon him.

Biblical Example: Joseph’s Unstoppable Progress
Despite being sold into slavery and imprisoned, Joseph experienced unstoppable progress. No matter how many setbacks he faced, God continued to move him forward until he became the prime minister of Egypt. This shows that God's purpose for your life cannot be stopped by any opposition or challenge.

2. OVERCOMING OBSTACLES TO PROGRESS

a) Challenges Are Temporary
Progress doesn’t come without challenges, but the good news is that every challenge is temporary. Isaiah 43:19 declares, "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." God is able to turn impossible situations around and cause you to progress even in difficult times.

b) Persistence in Faith
Unstoppable progress requires persistence. We must keep pushing forward, even when the enemy tries to throw obstacles in our path. Hebrews 10:36 reminds us, "For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise." Your progress is certain when you continue to walk in faith, trusting God to see you through.

Biblical Example: Nehemiah’s Unstoppable Progress
When Nehemiah set out to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, he faced severe opposition from enemies. Yet, he persisted in faith and prayer, and the walls were completed despite the challenges. This shows that when God is with you, no opposition can stop your progress.

3. KEYS TO EXPERIENCING UNSTOPPABLE PROGRESS

a) Stay Connected to God
True progress comes from God. To experience unstoppable progress, we must stay connected to the source of all success—God. John 15:5 says, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." Continuous connection to God through prayer, worship, and obedience will guarantee your progress.

b) Walk in Obedience
Obedience is key to experiencing divine progress. Every time you obey God’s instructions, you position yourself for breakthrough and advancement. In Genesis 12:1-4, when Abraham obeyed God’s call to leave his homeland, he began to experience unstoppable progress, and his descendants inherited the Promised Land.

Biblical Example: Peter's Obedience Leading to Progress (Luke 5:1-7)
Peter had toiled all night without catching anything, but at Jesus’ command, he cast his net again and experienced a miraculous catch of fish. Obedience to God’s word turned Peter's situation around and led to significant progress. This teaches us that obedience brings results, and through it, we experience unstoppable progress.

4. THE RESULTS OF UNSTOPPABLE PROGRESS

a) Multiplication and Fruitfulness
Unstoppable progress leads to multiplication and fruitfulness. When God’s hand is upon you, your efforts are multiplied, and you begin to bear more fruit. Genesis 26:12-14 tells us how Isaac sowed and reaped a hundredfold because the Lord blessed him. Fruitfulness is the evidence of divine progress.

b) Greater Influence and Impact
Unstoppable progress also increases your influence and impact in the kingdom of God. As you continue to move forward, God expands your territory and gives you a greater platform to fulfil His purpose. In Acts 2:47, as the early church continued in obedience, God added to their numbers daily, and their influence spread across regions.

Biblical Example:  Solomon's Unstoppable Progress (1 Kings 10:23-25)
Solomon's wisdom and wealth continued to grow, and kings and leaders from all over the world came to hear his wisdom. His progress in wisdom and wealth was unstoppable because God's favour was upon him. This shows that divine favour can lead to unprecedented progress and impact.

CONCLUSION
This month is your month of unstoppable progress. God has ordained that you will break barriers and experience advancement in every area of your life. No opposition or challenge can stop the work that God is doing in you. As you stay connected to God, walk in obedience, and persist in faith, you will see unprecedented progress that brings glory to God.
