OVERTURN

Description:
God is the ultimate changer of seasons and destinies. When He decides to overturn, no power in heaven, on earth, or beneath can resist His hand of divine rearrangement.

INTRODUCTION:

There are times in life when things appear to be fixed or stuck: when wicked systems, unjust structures, and stubborn oppositions seem immovable. But our God specialises in divine overturning. He can disrupt the order of men to establish His divine order.

When God says, “I will overturn,” He is declaring that He will reverse the irreversible and dethrone the undethronable. His purpose is to ensure that the right person, the right destiny, and the right order takes its rightful place. God’s overturning may cause shaking, but the end result always aligns with His perfect plan.

In every generation, God has demonstrated that He has the power to change who reigns, who rules, and who receives. When divine overturning takes place, destinies are restored, thrones are reassigned, and divine justice prevails.

1. GOD IS THE ULTIMATE OVERRULER

When men decree a thing, God can overrule it. His authority supersedes every human or satanic pronouncement.

a) God’s sovereignty is unquestionable (Psalm 115:3)
God does whatever pleases Him. No one can challenge His authority or resist His counsel.

b) God changes times and seasons (Daniel 2:21)
He removes kings and sets up others. He shifts power, wealth, and influence according to His divine will.

c) God frustrates evil decisions (Job 5:12)
Every satanic meeting held against your destiny can be scattered by divine overturning.

d) God’s decrees cannot be reversed (Numbers 23:20)
When He blesses a man, no curse or conspiracy can stand against it.

Biblical Example:
God overturned Pharaoh’s power in Egypt to establish the freedom of His people (Exodus 14:13-31).

2. GOD OVERTURNS TO RESTORE RIGHTFUL ORDER

Divine overturning is God’s method of restoring what belongs to His children.

a) God restores what was lost (Joel 2:25)
The years the locusts have eaten are recovered through divine intervention.

b) God transfers power and possessions (Proverbs 13:22)
The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous, and through overturning, it changes hands.

c) God exposes and removes the wrong occupants (1 Samuel 15:28)
When Saul disobeyed, God overturned his reign and gave the kingdom to David.

d) God positions the right people (Esther 2:17)
God can depose Vashti and enthrone Esther to fulfil His divine purpose.

Biblical Example:
Mordecai was exalted, and Haman was hanged on the same gallows he prepared for the righteous (Esther 7:10).

3. DIVINE OVERTURNING BRINGS DELIVERANCE

When God overturns, His people are liberated from oppression and bondage.

a) God overthrows the plans of the wicked (Psalm 33:10)
He frustrates the counsel of nations that rise against His people.

b) God delivers from captivity (Jeremiah 30:8)
He breaks the yoke from the necks of His people and sets them free.

c) God silences evil authorities (Isaiah 54:17)
No weapon formed against you shall prosper when God overturns your enemies’ plans.

d) God turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11)
Every sorrowful condition gives way to rejoicing when God steps in with His power.

Biblical Example:
God overturned the oppression of Babylon and set the Israelites free under King Cyrus (Ezra 1:1-4).

4. GOD OVERTURNS TO ESTABLISH HIS WILL

Every divine overturning fulfils a greater purpose, the establishment of God’s perfect will.

a) God’s plan always prevails (Proverbs 19:21)
Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but God’s purpose will stand.

b) God removes what stands in His way (Isaiah 40:4)
Mountains are levelled, valleys are lifted, and crooked paths are made straight.

c) God exalts the humble (1 Peter 5:6)
When God overturns, those who were overlooked are lifted into prominence.

d) God’s timing is perfect (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
His overturning happens at the appointed season: never late, never early.

Biblical Example:
Joseph was lifted from prison to the palace through divine overturning (Genesis 41:39-44).

CONCLUSION:

When God says, “I will overturn,” it means He is about to reorder events in your favour. He will turn shame into glory, captivity into liberty, and delay into divine speed. Every demonic arrangement that has stood against your destiny shall crumble by the hand of God.

Trust Him even when things are shaking. The shaking is not meant to destroy you, it is meant to reposition you. When God overturns, He is preparing you for your rightful throne.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord, thank You for being the God who overturns the plans of the enemy.
2. Father, every evil throne ruling over my destiny, be overturned in Jesus’ name.
3. Lord, overturn every satanic decree working against my family.
4. Father, arise and overturn every unjust system limiting my progress.
5. Lord, let every wrong occupant on my blessing be removed.
6. O God, overturn every delay in my life into divine acceleration.
7. Lord, restore everything that was stolen from me through divine overturning.
8. Father, overturn the plans of the wicked and establish Your will in my life.
9. Lord, let there be divine rearrangement in my favour.
10. Father, every stronghold of darkness, be overturned by the power of the Holy Ghost.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

1. Every wrong throne over your destiny shall be overturned in your favour!
2. God is rearranging events to position you for greatness!
3. Whatever was taken from you unjustly shall be restored by divine overturning!
4. Every power sitting on your promotion shall be unseated in Jesus’ name!
5. You shall witness a divine change of order that will lift you higher!
6. Your season of divine reordering has begun, get ready for elevation!
7. The Lord is overturning every curse and turning it into a blessing for you!
8. Those who mocked you will celebrate you after God’s divine overturning!
9. God is transferring authority and wealth into your hands!
10. Every demonic arrangement against your destiny is overturned permanently, in Jesus’ name!
