INTRODUCTION
In Matthew chapter 13, Jesus compared the Kingdom of Heaven to a mustard seed. Though the mustard seed is very small, it grows into a large tree where birds find shelter. Through this parable, Jesus revealed the power of small beginnings and the extraordinary growth potential of genuine faith.
Many believers become discouraged because their faith seems weak or small. However, Jesus taught that faith does not need to begin large to become effective. What matters is that faith is genuine, alive, and growing. Even little faith placed in a great God can produce mighty results.
Faith is essential in the Christian life. It connects believers to God’s promises, power, provision, and victory. Through prayer, God’s Word, obedience, and perseverance, small faith can develop into strong and fruitful spiritual maturity.
1. FAITH MAY BEGIN SMALL BUT CAN GROW GREATLY
God values genuine faith regardless of size.

c) Faith grows through hearing God’s Word (Romans 10:17)
Spiritual growth requires continual exposure to truth.
d) God honours sincere trust in Him (Hebrews 11:6)
Faith pleases God and attracts His response.

Mature faith blesses and supports others.

CONCLUSION
