INTRODUCTION:
When God supports and backs a person, no earthly or spiritual force can succeed against them. Divine backing is the assurance of God’s presence, protection, and guidance, empowering believers to face adversities with confidence. Joseph’s life exemplifies this truth. Despite betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment, God’s divine backing raised him to prominence in Egypt and preserved him against all odds. This message explores the power of divine backing and the unstoppable nature of a person who walks in God's favour and support.

1. WHAT IS DIVINE BACKING?

a) God's Presence with You:
Divine backing means God is with you in every season, never leaving or forsaking you (Hebrews 13:5-6).

b) His Protection Over You:
When God backs you, His protection shields you from all harm (Psalm 91:1-4).

c) Divine Favour Surrounds You:
God’s backing brings His favour, making you blessed wherever you go (Psalm 5:12).

d) Empowered to Fulfill Purpose:
Divine backing provides the strength and ability to achieve God's purpose, despite opposition (Philippians 4:13).

Biblical Example: Joseph, despite the hardships, experienced God’s presence and favour, which led to his eventual rise (Genesis 39:2-4).

2. CHARACTERISTICS OF A MAN WITH DIVINE BACKING

a) Confidence in God’s Promises:
When God backs you, you have confidence in His promises, regardless of circumstances (Romans 8:31).

b) Fearlessness in the Face of Opposition:
Divine backing dispels fear, empowering you to stand firm against adversities (Isaiah 41:10).

c) Persistence Despite Challenges:
Such a person does not give up but presses on, knowing God is fighting their battles (2 Corinthians 4:8-9).

d) Divine Wisdom and Guidance:
God’s backing grants wisdom to navigate life’s challenges (James 1:5).

Biblical Example: David, when confronted by Goliath, displayed fearlessness and confidence because he knew God was with him (1 Samuel 17:45).

3. BENEFITS OF HAVING DIVINE BACKING

a) Victory Over Adversaries:
With God on your side, no enemy can prevail against you (Isaiah 54:17).

b) Fulfilment of Divine Purpose:
Divine backing ensures that God’s purpose for your life will come to pass (Jeremiah 29:11).

c) Supernatural Breakthroughs:
God’s support brings miraculous breakthroughs, as seen in the lives of those He favours (Psalm 126:1-3).

d) Continuous Provision and Protection:
Divine backing ensures that God supplies all needs and protects from harm (Philippians 4:19).

Biblical Example: Esther received divine backing, which led to the preservation of the Jews and her promotion as queen (Esther 4:14-16).

4. HOW TO ATTRACT DIVINE BACKING

a) Trust in God Completely:
Faith and reliance on God invite His divine presence and support (Proverbs 3:5-6).

b) Live a Life of Obedience:
Obedience aligns you with God’s will, drawing His favour and backing (Isaiah 1:19).

c) Pursue Righteousness:
Righteousness exalts a person and invites God’s hand upon their life (Proverbs 10:24).

d) Be Prayerful and Humble:
A prayerful and humble heart attracts God’s grace and strength (James 4:6).

Biblical Example: Daniel’s faithfulness and obedience brought God’s divine backing, saving him in the lion's den (Daniel 6:22).

5. EVIDENCES OF DIVINE BACKING IN YOUR LIFE

a) Open Doors and Favour:
God opens doors that no one can shut when He backs you (Revelation 3:8).

b) Victory in Battles:
You experience victories that are beyond human explanation (Exodus 14:13-14).

c) Peace Amidst Challenges:
Divine backing grants peace, knowing God is with you (Psalm 23:4).

d) Testimonies of Breakthroughs:
When God is your support, your life is filled with testimonies of His faithfulness (Psalm 126:1-3).

Biblical Example: Paul and Silas, despite being imprisoned, experienced God’s presence and were delivered, bringing salvation to the jailer (Acts 16:25-26).

CONCLUSION:
No force can hinder a man who has God’s divine backing. Joseph’s life is a powerful reminder that God’s favour and support can turn adversity into advancement. As believers, we must strive to live in a way that attracts and keeps God’s presence with us. With God on our side, we are assured of victory, peace, and fulfilment. No matter the trials, God’s backing will propel us forward to fulfil His purpose for our lives.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. I declare that no force can hinder my progress, for the Lord backs me.

2. By divine backing, I shall overcome every battle that comes my way.

3. I decree that God’s favour surrounds me, opening doors of opportunity.

4. I shall fulfil my purpose, for the Lord is my helper and strength.

5. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, for God is on my side.

6. I am empowered to conquer every challenge in Jesus' name.

7. I walk in peace and confidence, for the Lord is with me.

8. My life will showcase God’s glory, for His hand is upon me.

9. I receive supernatural breakthroughs, as I enjoy divine backing.

10. I am a testimony of God's faithfulness, and no power can stop me.

With God’s backing, you are unstoppable. Walk in confidence, knowing that His divine support is your strength and shield.
