INTRODUCTION:
Healing is a divine provision from God, a blessing promised to those who believe. Throughout the Bible, God reveals Himself as Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. This study will explore the dimensions of God’s healing power, the conditions for receiving it, and examples of His miraculous healing to encourage our faith.

1. GOD’S COVENANT OF HEALING

a) Jehovah-Rapha – The Lord Who Heals
God reveals Himself as the Healer of His people (Exodus 15:26).

b) Healing in the Atonement
Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross brings physical, emotional, and spiritual healing (Isaiah 53:5).

c) Healing as Part of Redemption
Healing is part of the redemptive work of Christ (1 Peter 2:24).

d) The Promise of Divine Health
God promises to keep His people in good health (3 John 1:2).

Biblical Example: The Healing of Naaman – God healed Naaman of leprosy when he obeyed His instruction (2 Kings 5:1-14).

2. THE FAITH FACTOR IN HEALING

a) Faith Activates Healing
Healing is received by faith in God’s power (Mark 5:34).

b) Persistent Faith and Trust in God
Persistent faith brings about healing (Matthew 15:22-28).

c) Believing God’s Word
Faith in God’s Word releases His healing power (Psalm 107:20).

d) Prayer and Healing
Faith-filled prayer unlocks healing (James 5:15).

Biblical Example: The Woman with the Issue of Blood – Her faith in Jesus’ power brought her healing (Mark 5:25-34).

3. THE POWER OF JESUS’ NAME IN HEALING

a) Healing Through the Name of Jesus
There is healing power in the name of Jesus (Acts 3:6).

b) Authority Over Sickness
Jesus gave believers authority to heal the sick (Mark 16:17-18).

c) The Role of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit empowers believers to bring healing (Acts 10:38).

d) Calling on Jesus in Faith
Trusting in Jesus’ name brings restoration (John 14:13-14).

Biblical Example: Peter and John Heal the Lame Man – Through the name of Jesus, a lame man was restored (Acts 3:1-10).

4. THE HEALING POWER OF PRAYER AND ANOINTING

a) Prayer of Faith
Prayer offered in faith brings healing (James 5:15).

b) Laying on of Hands
Anointing and laying on of hands is a method of imparting healing (Mark 16:18).

c) Oil as a Symbol of Healing
Anointing with oil represents God’s healing power (James 5:14).

d) Confession and Forgiveness
Confession and forgiveness open the door to healing (James 5:16).

Biblical Example: Hezekiah’s Healing – Through prayer, God extended Hezekiah’s life (Isaiah 38:1-5).

5. LIVING IN DIVINE HEALTH

a) The Word of God as Medicine
God’s Word brings life and health to our bodies (Proverbs 4:20-22).

b) Obedience to God’s Instructions
Obeying God’s commands promotes health (Deuteronomy 7:15).

c) Gratitude and Worship
Worshipping God brings wellness (Psalm 103:2-3).

d) Guarding Our Hearts
A healthy heart promotes physical and spiritual health (Proverbs 14:30).

Biblical Example: Paul’s Resilience – God sustained Paul through many trials, keeping him healthy for his mission (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).

CONCLUSION:
God’s power to heal remains active today. Whether we need physical, emotional, or spiritual healing, the Lord is willing and able to restore us. We are encouraged to trust in His Word, exercise faith, and seek His touch in our lives. May we walk in the fullness of divine health, honouring Him through our restored lives.

4. By the blood of Jesus, I am redeemed from all sickness.

10. Thank You, Lord, for restoring health to me and making me whole.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. I declare that healing is your portion in the name of Jesus.

2. The Lord shall restore you to full health and vitality.

3. Every sickness is removed from your body by God’s power.

4. Divine health shall be your testimony in the name of Jesus.

5. You shall walk in supernatural strength and wellness.

6. Every pain and infirmity shall leave your body completely.

7. God’s healing touch shall manifest in every area of your life.

8. The anointing of God will break every yoke of sickness.

9. You will live and testify of God’s healing power.

10. The Lord shall make you a vessel of healing to others.
