INTRODUCTION:
In a world filled with uncertainties and challenges, the assurance of God's preservation brings peace to our hearts. This sermon explores the meaning of divine preservation, how God safeguards His children, and the importance of trusting Him to keep us in all our ways.
1. UNDERSTANDING DIVINE PRESERVATION
a) Definition of Preservation
Divine preservation refers to God's active involvement in safeguarding His people from harm and danger (Psalm 121:7).
b) God's Promise of Preservation
The Bible assures us that God watches over us and keeps us safe (Isaiah 43:2).
c) The Nature of God's Preservation
God's preservation encompasses our physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being (Psalm 91:11-12).
d) Faith in God's Ability to Preserve
We must trust in God's ability to protect and preserve us through trials (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
Biblical Example: Noah's Preservation – God preserved Noah and his family during the flood because of Noah's righteousness (Genesis 6:18).
2. THE ROLE OF GOD IN OUR PRESERVATION
a) God as Our Protector
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
b) His Angels Assigned to Us
God sends His angels to guard us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11).
c) Guidance Through Challenges
God preserves us by guiding us through life's challenges and dangers (Proverbs 3:5-6).
d) Empowerment in Weakness
In our weaknesses, God empowers us to overcome adversity (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Biblical Example: Daniel in the Lions' Den – God preserved Daniel by shutting the mouths of the lions (Daniel 6:22).
3. OUR RESPONSIBILITY IN RECEIVING PRESERVATION
a) Faith and Trust in God
Trusting God is essential to experiencing His preservation (Proverbs 30:5).
b) Obedience to God's Word
Living according to God's commands positions us for His protection (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).
c) Prayer as a Means of Preservation
Seeking God in prayer invites His preservation in our lives (Philippians 4:6-7).
d) Cultivating a Close Relationship with God
A strong relationship with God enhances our awareness of His protective presence (James 4:8).
Biblical Example: David's Trust in God – David continually sought the Lord, leading to his preservation from Saul (1 Samuel 23:14).
4. THE RESULTS OF DIVINE PRESERVATION
a) Peace and Assurance
Knowing we are preserved by God brings peace in the midst of turmoil (Philippians 4:7).
b) Joy in Trials
Divine preservation allows us to rejoice even in difficult times, knowing God is with us (James 1:2-3).
c) Testimonies of God’s Faithfulness
Our experiences of preservation lead to testimonies that encourage others (Psalm 34:6).
d) Strengthened Faith
Witnessing God’s preservation strengthens our faith and reliance on Him (Romans 10:17).
Biblical Example: Paul and Silas in Prison – Their trust in God led to miraculous preservation and deliverance (Acts 16:25-26).
5. DECLARING GOD'S PRESERVATION
a) Proclaiming His Goodness
We are called to declare the goodness of God in our lives (Psalm 107:2).
b) Encouraging Others
Our testimonies inspire others to trust in God's preservation (Revelation 12:11).
c) Living as Witnesses
Our lives should reflect the preservation we receive, drawing others to Christ (Matthew 5:16).
d) Building a Legacy of Faith
We pass down the stories of God’s preservation to future generations (Psalm 78:4).
Biblical Example: The Israelites in the Wilderness – God preserved His people in the wilderness, leading them to a land flowing with milk and honey (Exodus 3:17).
CONCLUSION:
The Lord's promise to preserve us is a source of great comfort and strength. As we trust in Him, seek to live according to His Word, and share our testimonies of His faithfulness, we can experience His divine preservation in every aspect of our lives.

5. You will testify of God's goodness and faithfulness in your life.
6. The Lord will guide your steps and keep you safe.
7. Your trust in God will lead to divine deliverance.
8. You shall not fear, for the Lord is your refuge.
9. Your life will reflect the glory of God's preservation.
10. You will leave a legacy of faith in God's protection for future generations.
