INTRODUCTION:
Establishment by the Lord signifies His divine authority in our lives, enabling us to stand firm amidst challenges and uncertainties. God desires to establish us in every aspect—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. This message will explore the profound implications of being established by the Lord and how we can anchor our lives in His promises.
1. THE MEANING OF DIVINE ESTABLISHMENT
a) Rooted in His Word
Being established means being firmly rooted in God’s promises and truths (Psalm 119:11).
b) A Foundation of Faith
Our faith serves as a foundation for divine establishment (Matthew 7:24-25).
c) God’s Sovereign Plan
Understanding that God has a divine purpose for our lives leads to a sense of security (Jeremiah 29:11).
d) The Role of Obedience
Obeying God’s commands positions us for His establishment (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).
Biblical Example: Joseph's Journey – Joseph's trials ultimately led to his establishment as a ruler in Egypt (Genesis 41:46-49).
2. SPIRITUAL ESTABLISHMENT
a) Growing in Faith
Our spiritual maturity is vital for being established in Christ (Colossians 2:6-7).
b) Staying Connected to the Vine
Jesus as the true vine emphasizes the importance of remaining in Him for strength (John 15:5).
c) The Role of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit empowers us to stand firm in our faith and calling (Acts 1:8).
d) Community Support
The body of Christ provides encouragement and strength in our journey (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Biblical Example: Peter's Restoration – Jesus established Peter after his denial, empowering him for future leadership (John 21:15-17).
3. EMOTIONAL ESTABLISHMENT
a) Finding Peace in His Presence
Establishing our hearts in God leads to peace amidst turmoil (Philippians 4:6-7).
b) Guarding Our Hearts
We must protect our emotional well-being by focusing on God's truth (Proverbs 4:23).
c) Overcoming Anxiety
Trusting God helps us overcome anxiety and insecurity (1 Peter 5:7).

Praising God shifts our focus from our problems to His greatness (Psalm 34:1-3).

4. PHYSICAL ESTABLISHMENT
a) Divine Provision
God provides for our physical needs as part of His establishment (Philippians 4:19).

God desires us to be in good health, and we can claim His promises for healing (3 John 1:2).
c) Wisdom in Stewardship
Being established also involves wise management of the resources God has given us (Proverbs 21:20).
d) Preparing for Increase
We must be prepared for the blessings and responsibilities that come with divine establishment (Luke 16:10).
Biblical Example: The Widow of Zarephath – God established her and her son through Elijah, providing for them during a famine (1 Kings 17:8-16).
5. MAINTAINING OUR ESTABLISHMENT
a) Regular Prayer and Worship
Engaging in consistent prayer and worship keeps us anchored in God's presence (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
b) Reading and Meditating on His Word
The Word of God guides and strengthens us, helping us remain established (Joshua 1:8).
c) Accountability in Community
Surrounding ourselves with fellow believers who encourage us to stay steadfast is crucial (Galatians 6:1-2).
d) Continual Surrender
Daily surrender to God’s will ensures we remain established in His plan (Romans 12:1-2).
Biblical Example: Paul’s Commitment – Paul’s steadfast commitment to God’s calling established his ministry and legacy (2 Timothy 4:7).

Being established by the Lord is a profound blessing that empowers us to stand firm in our faith and face life’s challenges with confidence.
