INTRODUCTION:
The Lord is Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides. His provision for His people is both faithful and abundant, ensuring that we lack nothing as we trust in Him. The Bible is filled with examples of God's miraculous provision, and this study will remind us of His ability to meet our needs, inspire us to depend on Him, and encourage us to seek His provision through faith and obedience.

1. GOD AS OUR PROVIDER

a) Jehovah-Jireh: The God Who Sees and Provides
God sees our needs before we even ask and provides (Genesis 22:14).

b) The Promise of Provision
God promises to meet our needs according to His riches (Philippians 4:19).

c) God’s Provision in Times of Need
He provides during times of drought, famine, and crisis (1 Kings 17:1-6).

d) God’s Abundant Supply
His provision is always more than enough (Psalm 23:1).

Biblical Example: Provision for Elijah – God provided for Elijah through ravens during a famine (1 Kings 17:1-6).

2. FAITH AND TRUST IN GOD'S PROVISION

a) Trusting God’s Timing and Method
God’s provision comes in His perfect timing (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

b) Seeking First God’s Kingdom
When we prioritize God, He adds all we need (Matthew 6:33).

c) Faith in God’s Abilities, Not Our Own
Dependence on God, not self, brings provision (Proverbs 3:5-6).

d) Prayer and Thanksgiving
Faith-filled prayer and gratitude invite God’s provision (Philippians 4:6-7).

Biblical Example: The Widow’s Oil – Her faith and obedience led to miraculous provision (2 Kings 4:1-7).

3. THE PRINCIPLE OF SOWING AND REAPING

a) Giving and Receiving
Generosity opens doors for divine provision (Luke 6:38).

b) The Blessing of Generosity
God blesses those who help others (Proverbs 11:25).

c) Sowing into God’s Work
Investing in God’s kingdom brings a harvest (2 Corinthians 9:6).

d) Sacrificial Giving
Sacrifice often precedes supernatural provision (1 Kings 17:13-16).

Biblical Example: The Feeding of the 5,000 – A boy’s offering of loaves and fish led to abundant provision (John 6:5-13)

4. OBEDIENCE AS A KEY TO PROVISION

a) Blessings of Obedience
Obedience brings God’s blessing and provision (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).

b) Following Divine Instructions
God provides for those who obey His directions (Isaiah 1:19).

c) Stewardship of Resources
Faithfulness with what God provides leads to more (Luke 16:10).

d) Relying on God’s Wisdom
Trusting God’s guidance brings supernatural provision (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Biblical Example: Peter’s Miraculous Catch – Peter’s obedience led to an overflow of fish (Luke 5:4-7).

5. LIVING IN CONTENTMENT

a) Contentment as a Key to Satisfaction
Godly contentment brings peace and gratitude (1 Timothy 6:6).

b) God Provides for Our Needs, Not Our Greed
Trusting God’s provision leads to satisfaction (Psalm 37:25).

c) Appreciating God’s Daily Provisions
Recognizing God’s blessings daily keeps us thankful (Matthew 6:11).

d) Avoiding Anxiety About Provision
Knowing God cares relieves us from worry (Matthew 6:25-30).

Biblical Example: Paul’s Contentment – Paul learned to be content in every situation (Philippians 4:11-13).

CONCLUSION:
God's provision is available to all who trust in Him, obey His Word, and live with faith and contentment. He is able to supply every need in abundance, beyond what we can ask or imagine.
