INTRODUCTION:
In times of trouble and uncertainty, the comforting presence of the Lord can be our refuge. The assurance that "the Lord held me close" reminds us that we are never alone and that God’s embrace provides safety, love, and strength. This message will explore the profound truth of God’s closeness in our lives.
1. THE IMPORTANCE OF GOD'S EMBRACE
a) God’s Desire for Intimacy
God longs to have a close relationship with His people (James 4:8).
b) His Presence as a Source of Comfort
When we feel alone, His presence reassures us (Psalm 23:4).
c) Security in His Arms
Being held close by God provides a sense of security and peace (Isaiah 26:3).
