INTRODUCTION:
Life's journey often presents us with trials and tribulations that can feel overwhelming. In such times, we may find ourselves wondering how we will endure. However, the assurance that "the Lord carried me through" speaks to His unwavering support and strength. This message will explore the profound truth that God is always there to carry us through our struggles.

1. RECOGNISING GOD’S CARRYING POWER

a) Understanding God’s Nature
God is a loving Father who cares deeply for His children (1 Peter 5:7).

b) His Promise to Be with Us
The Lord assures us that He will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

c) The Importance of Faith
Our faith enables us to experience God’s carrying power (Hebrews 11:6).

d) God’s Strength in Our Weakness
When we are weak, His strength is made perfect in us (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Biblical Example: The Israelites in the Wilderness – God carried His people through the wilderness, providing for their needs (Exodus 16:35).

2. THE ROLE OF PRAYER AND WORSHIP

a) Finding Refuge in Prayer
Prayer is a lifeline that connects us to God’s carrying power (Philippians 4:6-7).

b) Worship as a Source of Strength

In times of waiting, God is preparing us for what lies ahead (Isaiah 40:31).

c) Recognising His Hand in Difficulties
We must see challenges as opportunities for growth (James 1:2-4).

d) Being Sensitive to His Voice
Learning to listen to God's direction is vital during trials (John 10:27).

Biblical Example: Joseph’s Journey – Joseph trusted God through betrayal, imprisonment, and ultimately to his elevation (Genesis 37-50).

4. TESTIMONIES OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS

a) Personal Testimonies
Sharing experiences of God carrying us through strengthens our faith and encourages others.

b) Celebrating God’s Faithfulness
Acknowledging God’s past faithfulness helps us trust Him in future challenges (Psalm 77:11-12).

c) The Impact of Collective Testimonies
Hearing the testimonies of others builds a community of faith (Revelation 12:11).

d) Writing Down God’s Miracles
Keeping a record of God's faithfulness serves as a reminder in difficult times (Habakkuk 2:2).

Biblical Example: The Woman with the Issue of Blood – Her testimony of healing illustrates God’s power to carry us through long-standing issues (Mark 5:25-34).

5. LIVING IN THE ASSURANCE OF HIS CARRYING GRACE

a) Embracing Our Identity in Christ
Recognising our identity in Christ empowers us to face challenges confidently (2 Corinthians 5:17).

b) Walking in His Peace
God’s peace carries us through turmoil and uncertainty (John 14:27).

c) Cultivating a Grateful Heart
Gratitude shifts our focus from problems to God’s provision (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

d) Encouraging One Another
We are called to support one another in our journeys (Galatians 6:2).

Biblical Example: The Apostle Paul – Paul experienced many hardships but found strength in Christ to endure (Philippians 4:12-13).

CONCLUSION:
