INTRODUCTION:
God's promise to prosper the work of our hands is a powerful affirmation of His desire to bless us in all our endeavors. This sermon focuses on understanding what it means for the Lord to prosper our hands, the importance of aligning our efforts with His will, and the manifestations of divine prosperity in our lives.

1. THE MEANING OF PROSPERITY

a) Understanding Divine Prosperity
Prosperity is not just financial; it encompasses spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being (3 John 1:2).

b) God's Desire for Us
God desires to see us thrive and succeed in every aspect of life (Jeremiah 29:11).

c) Working in Alignment with God’s Will
Our prosperity is linked to aligning our actions with God's purpose (Proverbs 16:3).

d) The Role of Faith and Trust
Prosperity comes when we trust in the Lord and commit our plans to Him (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Biblical Example: Joseph’s Prosperity – Joseph prospered in Potiphar's house and later in Pharaoh's court due to God's blessing upon his efforts (Genesis 39:2-3).

2. THE LORD PROSPERING OUR HANDS

a) God's Blessing on Our Labour
The Lord blesses the work of our hands when we seek Him diligently (Psalm 90:17).

b) Divine Endorsement of Our Efforts
God’s prosperity is an endorsement of our hard work and dedication (1 Chronicles 4:10).

c) God’s Guidance in Our Endeavours
He leads us in the right paths that result in prosperity (Isaiah 48:17).

d) Abundance Beyond Expectation
When the Lord prospers us, the blessings often exceed our expectations (Ephesians 3:20).

Biblical Example: David’s Success – David was successful in all his endeavors because the Lord was with him (1 Samuel 18:14).

3. THE CONDITIONS FOR DIVINE PROSPERITY

a) Obedience to God’s Word
Prosperity is rooted in our obedience to God’s commands (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).

b) Sowing and Reaping
We must engage in the principle of sowing seeds in faith to reap a bountiful harvest (Galatians 6:7).

c) Serving Others
Prosperity often follows those who serve and bless others (Proverbs 11:25).

d) Maintaining Integrity
Success built on integrity is lasting and true (Proverbs 10:9).

Biblical Example: The Widow of Zarephath – Her obedience in providing for Elijah led to God's miraculous provision for her household (1 Kings 17:12-16).

4. RECEIVING GOD’S PROSPERITY

a) Open Hands to Receive
We must be ready and willing to receive what the Lord has for us (James 1:5).

b) Gratitude for God’s Blessings
A heart of gratitude opens doors for more blessings (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

c) Faith in Action
We should act in faith, believing that God will prosper our hands (Hebrews 11:1).

d) Staying Connected to God
Prosperity flourishes when we remain in communion with God (John 15:5).

Biblical Example: Solomon’s Request for Wisdom – Solomon asked God for wisdom, and the Lord blessed him abundantly in every area of his life (1 Kings 3:5-14).

5. WITNESSING THE IMPACT OF PROSPERITY

a) Testimonies of God’s Goodness
Prosperity provides opportunities to testify of God’s goodness and grace (Psalm 107:2).

b) Blessing Others Through Our Abundance
Our prosperity enables us to bless others and expand God's kingdom (2 Corinthians 9:11).

c) Creating a Legacy of Blessing
Prosperous lives leave a legacy that impacts generations (Proverbs 13:22).

d) Bringing Glory to God
Our success should ultimately point others to glorify God (Matthew 5:16).

Biblical Example: The Early Church – The early believers shared their resources, leading to a community of abundance and blessing (Acts 4:32-35).
