Text: Philippians 3:10 — “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection…”

Romans 8:11 — “But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you… He shall also quicken your mortal bodies…”

INTRODUCTION:
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Christian faith. It is not just a historical event, but a present-day reality filled with power. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to every believer today.
Philippians 3:10 reveals a deep desire: “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection…” This power is not theoretical; it is practical, experiential, and transformational. It brings life where there is death, victory where there is defeat, and hope where there is despair.
Resurrection power is God’s ultimate demonstration of authority over sin, death, and the grave. When a believer understands and walks in this power, life is never the same again.

1.  WHAT IS THE RESURRECTION POWER

Resurrection power refers to the supernatural power of God that raised Jesus Christ from the dead—and the same power that now works in believers for transformation, victory, and new life.

🔹 1. The Power That Raised Christ

The foundation of resurrection power is seen in the resurrection of Jesus.

Romans 8:11 — “But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you… He shall also quicken your mortal bodies…”

Ephesians 1:19–20 — It is the exceeding greatness of His power which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead.

👉 This means resurrection power is divine, unstoppable, and victorious over death itself.

🔹 2. The Power That Gives New Life

Resurrection power brings spiritual rebirth and transformation.

2 Corinthians 5:17 — “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…”

John 11:25 — “I am the resurrection and the life…”

👉 It takes a person from spiritual death to spiritual life, breaking the power of sin.

🔹 3. The Power That Enables Holy Living

It empowers believers to live above sin and walk in righteousness.

Romans 6:4 — “Even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

Galatians 2:20 — “I am crucified with Christ… Christ liveth in me…”

👉 Resurrection power is not just an event—it is a daily working force in the believer.

🔹 4. The Power That Brings Victory Over Challenges

It gives believers victory over trials, fear, and satanic oppression.

Philippians 3:10 — “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection…”

1 Corinthians 15:57 — “Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory…”

👉 What defeated death can defeat any situation in your life.

🔹 5. The Power That Guarantees Eternal Life

Resurrection power assures believers of their own resurrection.

1 Corinthians 15:20–22 — Christ is the firstfruits of them that slept.

John 5:28–29 — All in the graves shall hear His voice.

👉 Just as Christ rose, believers will also rise to eternal life.

The power of God that conquered death

Resurrection power is the life-giving, victory-producing power of God at work in a believer through Jesus Christ.

The resurrection power of God is not only a past event, it is a present reality that actively works in the life of a believer today. Here is what it can do for someone right now:

2. WHAT THE RESURRECTION POWER CAN DO?

🔹 1. IT CAN GIVE YOU A NEW BEGINNING

2 Corinthians 5:17 — “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…”

👉 Resurrection power can wipe away your past, break old patterns, and give you a fresh start in life.

🔹 2. IT CAN BREAK THE POWER OF SIN

Romans 6:6–7 — “Our old man is crucified with Him… that we should not serve sin.”

👉 It gives you the strength to overcome habits, addictions, and sinful lifestyles.

🔹 3. IT CAN REVIVE DEAD SITUATIONS

Ezekiel 37:5 — “Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.”

👉 Whatever seems “dead”—finances, career, marriage, spiritual life—can come alive again.

🔹 4. IT CAN HEAL AND RESTORE

Romans 8:11 — “…He shall also quicken your mortal bodies…”

👉 Resurrection power brings healing to the body and restoration to broken areas of life.

🔹 5. IT CAN GIVE YOU VICTORY OVER CHALLENGES

1 Corinthians 15:57 — “Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory…”

👉 No matter the battle, resurrection power gives you authority to overcome fear, oppression, and limitations.

🔹 6. IT CAN RESTORE HOPE AND JOY

1 Peter 1:3 — “…begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ…”

👉 It replaces discouragement with hope, and sorrow with joy.

🔹 7. IT CAN EMPOWER YOU FOR PURPOSE

Philippians 3:10 — “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection…”

👉 It equips you to fulfil your God-given assignment with boldness and grace.

🔹 8. IT CAN SECURE YOUR FUTURE

John 11:25 — “I am the resurrection, and the life…”

👉 It guarantees eternal life and a future with God.

Today, resurrection power can:

Give you a new life

Break bondages

Revive dead situations

Bring healing and restoration

Grant victory

Restore hope

Empower purpose

Secure your eternal destiny

🔹 PROPHETIC WORD
By the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, everything dead or dying in your life shall receive life again today, in Jesus’ name!

3. WALKING IN THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION

To walk in the power of His resurrection is to live daily under the influence of the life, victory, and authority that came through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is not automatic—it requires intentional spiritual alignment.

Here is how a believer can walk in that power:

🔹 1. BE GENUINELY BORN AGAIN

Romans 10:9 — “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus…”

John 1:12 — “As many as received Him, to them gave He power…”

👉 Resurrection power begins with salvation. You cannot walk in it until you are connected to Christ.

🔹 2. CULTIVATE INTIMACY WITH GOD

Philippians 3:10 — “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection…”

Jeremiah 29:13 — “You shall seek Me, and find Me…”

👉 The deeper your relationship with God, the stronger the manifestation of His power in your life.

🔹 3. LIVE A CRUCIFIED LIFE

Galatians 2:20 — “I am crucified with Christ…”

Luke 9:23 — “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself…”

👉 Resurrection power flows where self is surrendered. You must die to fleshly desires daily.

🔹 4. BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

Romans 8:11 — “The Spirit of Him that raised Jesus… dwells in you…”

Acts 1:8 — “You shall receive power when the Holy Ghost is come upon you…”

👉 The Holy Spirit is the carrier of resurrection power. Stay filled and sensitive to Him.

🔹 5. WALK IN FAITH, NOT FEAR

2 Corinthians 5:7 — “We walk by faith, not by sight.”

Mark 11:23 — “Whosoever shall say unto this mountain…”

👉 Resurrection power is activated by faith declarations and bold trust in God.

🔹 6. PRAY FERVENTLY AND CONSISTENTLY

James 5:16 — “The effectual fervent prayer… availeth much.”

Luke 18:1 — “Men ought always to pray…”

👉 Prayer is how you draw and release spiritual power into your life situations.

🔹 7. FEED ON THE WORD OF GOD

Hebrews 4:12 — “The word of God is quick, and powerful…”

Joshua 1:8 — “This book of the law shall not depart…”

👉 The Word builds your faith and keeps you aligned with God’s power.

🔹 8. WALK IN HOLINESS AND OBEDIENCE

1 Peter 1:15–16 — “Be ye holy…”

Deuteronomy 28:1 — “If thou shalt hearken diligently…”

👉 Sin weakens spiritual power, but obedience sustains it.

🔹 9. EXERCISE SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY

Luke 10:19 — “I give unto you power… over all the power of the enemy.”

Ephesians 2:6 — “Seated… in heavenly places in Christ…”

👉 Speak, act, and live like one who has been raised with Christ in authority.

🔹 10. EXPECT AND DECLARE RESULTS

Job 22:28 — “You shall decree a thing…”

Isaiah 55:11 — “My word… shall not return unto Me void…”

👉 Resurrection power responds to expectation and bold declaration.

To walk in resurrection power:

Be saved

Be filled with the Holy Spirit

Resurrection power is not just something to admire, it is something to experience daily. As you align with these principles, your life will continually reflect victory, transformation, and divine manifestation.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.  Father, let the power of Your resurrection be made manifest in my life in Jesus’ name.

2.  Lord, quicken every dead area of my life by Your resurrection power in Jesus’ name.

3.  Father, empower me to live above sin and the flesh in Jesus’ name.

4.  Lord, let every impossible situation in my life receive life in Jesus’ name.

5.  Father, release Your healing power into my body in Jesus’ name.

6.  Lord, strengthen me by Your Spirit to walk in victory daily in Jesus’ name.

7.  Father, let Your resurrection power break every limitation in my life in Jesus’ name.

8.  Lord, fill me afresh with the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name.

9.  Father, make me a carrier of resurrection power in Jesus’ name.

10.  Lord, let my life become a testimony of Your power in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

1. You shall walk in the power of His resurrection in Jesus’ name!

2. Every dead situation in your life comes alive now in Jesus’ name!

3.  You are rising above every limitation in Jesus’ name!

4. The power of sin is broken over your life in Jesus’ name!

5. You shall experience divine healing and restoration in Jesus’ name!

6.  You are more than a conqueror in every situation in Jesus’ name!

7.  The Holy Spirit will empower you for victory daily in Jesus’ name!

8.  No power of darkness shall prevail over you in Jesus’ name!

9. You will manifest the glory of God in every area of your life in Jesus’ name!

10. Your life shall reflect the victory of Christ in Jesus’ name!
