WATER WILL FLOW FROM YOUR DRY ROCK

"Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel."

INTRODUCTION:
Life can sometimes present us with "dry rocks"—situations that seem hopeless, lifeless, and unyielding. However, our God is the God of supernatural provision. Just as He brought water out of a dry rock for the Israelites, He can turn every difficult and impossible situation in your life into a source of blessing and abundance. This sermon will explore how God can make water flow from your dry rock.

1. UNDERSTANDING THE DRY ROCK EXPERIENCE
A dry rock represents tough and impossible situations in life.

a) A Season of Hardship
Sometimes, believers go through financial, emotional, or spiritual dryness (Habakkuk 3:17-18).

b) A Season of Delayed Answers
It can feel as if prayers are not being answered (Daniel 10:12-13).

c) A Place of Human Helplessness
The Israelites had no solution until God intervened (Exodus 14:10-12).

d) A Time of Faith Testing
God allows trials to build our faith and dependence on Him (James 1:3).

e) Biblical Example:
The widow of Zarephath faced dryness but God provided through Elijah (1 Kings 17:12-16).

2. GOD SPECIALISES IN BRINGING WATER FROM DRY ROCKS
God’s power turns impossibilities into possibilities.

a) He is the Source of Living Water
Jesus offers living water to those who thirst (John 7:37-38).

b) He Can Provide in Unexpected Ways
God’s provision is beyond human reasoning (Isaiah 55:8-9).

c) He Uses Unlikely Sources
Water from a rock defies natural laws (Psalms 114:8).

d) He Multiplies the Little We Have
God’s power can make little resources sufficient (John 6:11-13).

e) Biblical Example:
God provided water for Hagar and Ishmael in the wilderness (Genesis 21:15-19).

3. HOW TO POSITION YOURSELF FOR GOD’S SUPERNATURAL PROVISION
To experience divine provision, we must align ourselves with God’s principles.

a) Trust in God’s Ability
God can make a way where there is no way (Isaiah 43:19).

b) Speak to Your Rock in Faith
Moses was commanded to speak to the rock, but he struck it instead (Numbers 20:8-11).

c) Walk in Obedience
Obedience unlocks divine resources (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).

d) Be a Carrier of God's Presence
The rock that provided water symbolised Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4).

e) Biblical Example:
Peter experienced supernatural provision when he obeyed Jesus’ instruction to cast the net again (Luke 5:4-6).

4. SIGNS THAT YOUR DRY ROCK WILL PRODUCE WATER
There are signs that God is about to turn your situation around.

a) When God’s Word Comes to You
Every divine turnaround starts with a word from God (Psalms 107:20).

b) When You Persist in Prayer
Elijah prayed until the rain came (1 Kings 18:41-45).

c) When You Maintain a Heart of Gratitude
Thanksgiving attracts divine multiplication (John 6:11).

d) When God Begins to Stir Unusual Favour
Divine connections and help begin to manifest (Exodus 3:21).

e) Biblical Example:
The man at the Pool of Bethesda received his long-awaited breakthrough when Jesus showed up (John 5:5-9).

5. WHEN GOD MAKES WATER FLOW, IT WILL OVERFLOW
God’s provision is not just enough—it overflows.

a) Abundance Instead of Scarcity
God blesses beyond measure (Malachi 3:10).

b) Restoration of Lost Years
What was lost will be recovered (Joel 2:25-26).

c) Supernatural Speed
When the season of dryness ends, breakthroughs happen quickly (Amos 9:13).

d) Unstoppable Joy and Testimonies
When God moves, there will be undeniable miracles (Psalms 126:1-3).

e) Biblical Example:
The widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7 experienced an overflow of oil when she obeyed the prophetic instruction.

CONCLUSION:
No situation is too difficult for God. Just as He brought water out of a dry rock for the Israelites, He will bring provision, breakthroughs, and miracles out of the impossible situations in your life. Keep trusting Him, speaking His word, and positioning yourself for divine intervention. Your season of dryness is over, and your rock will flow with water!

6. Lord, let there be divine speed in my breakthroughs.

7. Every demonic power blocking my provision, be destroyed in Jesus’ name.

8. I receive divine wisdom to walk in my season of overflow.

9. Lord, let the rock of impossibilities turn to a source of miracles in my life.

10. I decree and declare that my dry rock will flow with supernatural water!

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. I declare that your season of dryness is over!

2. From today, water shall flow from every dry rock in your life.

3. Every impossibility in your life shall turn into a testimony.

4. God is making a way for you where there is no way.

5. The doors of supernatural provision are opened for you.

6. You will never lack divine supply again.

7. Whatever has delayed in your life shall manifest speedily.

8. Your story will change, and men will celebrate your testimony.

9. Your faith will not fail, and your joy shall be full.

10. I decree and declare that your rock will produce water in abundance in Jesus’ name!

May the Lord bring water from every dry rock in your life and turn your story into a testimony in Jesus' name. Amen!
