INTRODUCTION:

The glory of God represents His divine presence, power, and majesty. Throughout Scripture, we see that God desires His people to carry His glory and manifest it to the world. From Moses, who radiated God’s glory after encountering Him, to the New Testament believers filled with the Holy Spirit, we are called to be carriers of His glory. This message explores how we can experience, sustain, and manifest God's glory in our lives.

1. WHAT IS THE GLORY OF GOD?

  • a) God’s Manifest Presence (Exodus 33:14-15)
God's glory is the tangible expression of His presence among His people.
  • b) God’s Power and Majesty (Psalm 24:7-10)
His glory reveals His greatness and dominion over all creation.
  • c) God’s Holiness (Isaiah 6:3)
The glory of God is inseparable from His purity and righteousness.
  • d) God’s Light (John 1:4-5)
Where God's glory is present, darkness cannot prevail.
  • e) Biblical Example: Moses’ Encounter (Exodus 34:29-30)
After spending time with God, Moses’ face shone with His glory.

2. BECOMING A CARRIER OF HIS GLORY

  • a) Salvation Through Christ (Colossians 1:27)
Christ in us is the hope of glory.
  • b) Living a Life of Holiness (2 Timothy 2:21)
Purity is required to carry and sustain God’s glory.
  • c) Seeking God’s Presence (Psalm 63:1-2)
Deep intimacy with God attracts His glory.
  • d) Walking in Faith and Obedience (John 11:40)
Believing and obeying God leads to a manifestation of His glory.
  • e) Biblical Example: The Early Church (Acts 2:1-4, 43)
The glory of God rested upon the early believers, and they performed mighty works.

3. MANIFESTING HIS GLORY TO THE WORLD

  • a) Being a Light in Darkness (Matthew 5:14-16)
We are called to shine His glory wherever we go.
  • b) Demonstrating God’s Power (Mark 16:17-18)
Signs and wonders confirm God's glory in our lives.
  • c) Living as Witnesses of Christ (Acts 1:8)
The Holy Spirit empowers us to showcase His glory.
  • d) Walking in Love and Compassion (John 13:34-35)
God's glory is revealed through our love for others.
  • e) Biblical Example: Jesus at the Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-5)
Jesus displayed the fullness of God's glory before His disciples.

4. HINDRANCES TO CARRYING GOD’S GLORY

  • a) Sin and Disobedience (Romans 3:23)
Sin separates us from the glory of God.
  • b) Lack of Faith (Hebrews 11:6)
Doubt and unbelief hinder us from experiencing His glory.
  • c) Worldliness and Distractions (1 John 2:15-17)
Carnal desires block the manifestation of God's presence.
  • d) Prayerlessness (James 4:8)
A weak prayer life disconnects us from divine glory.
  • e) Biblical Example: Ichabod – The Departed Glory (1 Samuel 4:21-22)
The glory of God left Israel due to disobedience and sin.

5. SUSTAINING GOD’S GLORY IN YOUR LIFE

True worship attracts and sustains the presence of God.
  • b) Continuous Fellowship with the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14)
The Holy Spirit empowers us to live in God’s glory.
  • c) Faithfulness in God’s Service (Romans 12:11)
Serving God wholeheartedly keeps us in His glory.
  • d) Dying to Self (Galatians 2:20)
Humility and surrender allow God's glory to shine through us.
  • e) Biblical Example: Stephen’s Glory Before Martyrdom (Acts 6:15, 7:55-56)
Even in persecution, Stephen reflected the glory of God.

CONCLUSION:
