INTRODUCTION:
In the final part of this series, we will focus on how to sustain the momentum of our supernatural breakthroughs, experience lasting transformation, and ensure that the doors that God opens remain open. This message will empower you to remain in the season of breakthrough and see the fruits of your labor and prayers manifest in abundance.
1. EXPECTING ABUNDANT RAIN AFTER THE BREAKTHROUGH
a) Recognizing the Signs of Manifestation (1 Kings 18:44)
After the breakthrough comes, you must be vigilant and ready to receive the manifestation. The smallest sign is a precursor to a greater outpouring.
b) Embracing the Overflow of Blessings (Deuteronomy 28:8)
The breakthrough is not just for today but for the future. Expect a continuous flow of God’s blessings upon your life.
c) Cultivating a Spirit of Expectancy (James 5:17-18)
Elijah prayed expecting rain, and God responded. Your expectation is the key to seeing the fullness of your breakthrough manifest.
d) Giving Thanks for the Rain of Blessings (Philippians 4:6)
Thank God in advance for the breakthroughs you have received and those still to come. Your gratitude ensures the continuance of your breakthroughs.
e) Biblical Example: Elijah’s Prayer for Rain (1 Kings 18:41-46)
After praying for rain, Elijah continued to expect it, even when there was no visible sign. His perseverance led to a mighty downpour of blessings.
2. MAINTAINING STEADFASTNESS IN PRAYER AND FAITH
a) Praying Without Ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Even after your breakthrough, prayer remains the foundation. The continual prayer opens the heavens for sustained breakthroughs.
b) Persevering in Faith for Full Manifestation (Hebrews 10:36)
The breakthrough process may not be instant, but perseverance ensures that you remain steadfast in your faith until the manifestation comes.
c) Living a Life of Consistent Worship (Psalm 95:6)
Continuous worship is an essential element for keeping the breakthrough flowing. It shifts the atmosphere for continued victories.
d) Guarding Your Confessions and Declarations (Mark 11:23)
Speak faith-filled words constantly. Guard your confessions and declarations to ensure you continue to walk in the victory that God has given you.
e) Biblical Example: The Persistent Widow (Luke 18:1-8)
Jesus highlighted the importance of persistent prayer and unwavering faith through the story of the widow and the unjust judge.
3. EMBRACING THE POWER OF GRATITUDE AFTER BREAKTHROUGH
a) Thanking God for the Little Things (Luke 17:15-16)
Express gratitude for both the major breakthroughs and the minor blessings, as they all reflect God’s goodness.
b) Living a Life of Continuous Thanksgiving (Psalm 103:1-2)
Never stop thanking God. A heart of thanksgiving attracts more of God’s favor and sustains the breakthrough.
c) Acknowledging God’s Faithfulness in Your Journey (Deuteronomy 8:10)
Look back at how far God has brought you and give Him praise for His faithfulness. This will unlock further breakthrough.
d) Sharing Your Testimonies to Encourage Others (Revelation 12:11)
Share your testimonies with others, as they not only honor God but encourage others to believe for their own breakthroughs.
e) Biblical Example: The Ten Lepers (Luke 17:11-19)
Only one leper returned to give thanks to Jesus after being healed. Gratitude opens the door for greater blessings.
4. GUARDING AGAINST PRIDE AND MAINTAINING HUMILITY
a) Recognizing That God Is the Source (James 1:17)
Acknowledge that every breakthrough, every blessing, and every victory comes from God. It is not by your strength but by His grace.
b) Remaining Humble and Dependent on God (1 Peter 5:6)
Humility attracts God’s continued favor. Remain humble and always acknowledge your dependence on Him.
c) Avoiding the Trap of Self-Sufficiency (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Don’t allow your breakthrough to cause you to rely on yourself. Keep your trust in God, for He is your provider.
d) Guarding Against Spiritual Complacency (Revelation 3:17-18)
Don’t become complacent in your breakthrough. Continue to seek God and grow spiritually.
e) Biblical Example: King Uzziah’s Pride (2 Chronicles 26:16-21)
Uzziah became prideful after his success and was struck with leprosy because he did not acknowledge God as the source of his strength.
5. COMMITTING TO BE A CHANNEL OF BLESSING FOR OTHERS
a) Being a Blessing to the Kingdom of God (2 Corinthians 9:8)
Use your breakthrough to serve others and further the Kingdom of God. Be generous and faithful in your giving.
b) Helping Those in Need (Matthew 25:34-40)
Your breakthrough is an opportunity to bless those around you, especially the less fortunate.
c) Serving in Ministry and Evangelism (Matthew 28:19-20)
After experiencing breakthrough, commit to serving God through evangelism and building His Kingdom.
d) Living Out the Spirit of Generosity (Acts 20:35)
Continue to live generously, giving of your time, resources, and talents to help others.
e) Biblical Example: The Early Church’s Generosity (Acts 4:32-35)
The early believers, after experiencing the breakthrough of the Holy Spirit, sold their possessions to share with those in need, demonstrating true generosity.
