Description: September is a prophetic season of reaping, fruitfulness, manifestation, restoration and receiving the results of faithful labour.

INTRODUCTION

Every seed carries within it the potential for a harvest. In the natural order established by God, sowing is followed by growing and growing is followed by reaping. Genesis 8:22 declares that while the earth remains, seedtime and harvest will continue. This principle also operates in our spiritual lives: prayers, sacrifices, obedience, service, faith and righteous labour are seeds that God can cause to produce a harvest.

There are seasons when a person may labour for a long time without immediately seeing the expected results. This can make people weary, discouraged and tempted to abandon what they started. However, Galatians 6:9 reminds us that there is a “due season” for reaping. The absence of immediate results does not mean that God has forgotten our labour. There is an appointed time when what has been sown will produce its fruit.

As we enter September 2026, we declare it as our month of Divine Harvest. We believe God for the manifestation of long-awaited results, the gathering of testimonies, fruitfulness in our endeavours, recovery of lost opportunities and the reward of faithful labour. We shall not faint before our harvest arrives; by the grace of God, we shall reap abundantly.

1. GOD HAS ORDAINED A SEASON OF HARVEST

Harvest is not an accident; it is part of God's established order. When the right seed is sown and the season arrives, God brings forth the expected fruit.

a. There Is A Time To Reap

Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 — There is “a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.”

God works with seasons. What has appeared delayed may simply be waiting for its appointed time.

b. Every Seed Produces After Its Kind

Galatians 6:7 — “Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Your actions, sacrifices, prayers and investments in God's kingdom are seeds. God is able to bring an appropriate harvest from them.

c. God Controls The Seasons

Genesis 8:22 — “Seedtime and harvest... shall not cease.”

Our confidence is not merely in the seed but in the God who established the law of harvest.

d. The Harvest Is A Time Of Joy

Psalm 126:5 — “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

The tears of yesterday can become the testimony of today. God can turn seasons of sorrow into seasons of celebration.

2. DO NOT GIVE UP BEFORE YOUR HARVEST

One of the greatest dangers before harvest is weariness. Many people abandon their field when the harvest is almost ready.

a. Do Not Become Weary In Doing Good

Galatians 6:9 — “Let us not be weary in well doing.”

Continue doing what God has commanded you to do even when the results are not immediately visible.

b. Your Labour Is Not In Vain

1 Corinthians 15:58 — “Your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Every genuine labour done for God is recorded by Him. Nothing offered to God in faith is wasted.

c. Keep Sowing In Faith

Psalm 126:6 — “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed... shall doubtless come again with rejoicing.”

Faithful sowing must continue even when circumstances appear unfavourable.

d. Wait For Your Due Season

Galatians 6:9 — “For in due season we shall reap.”

The fact that the harvest has not appeared yet does not mean it will never come. There is a God-appointed season for manifestation.

3. GOD IS BRINGING FRUITFULNESS INTO OUR LIVES

Divine harvest is more than receiving money or material possessions. It includes fruitfulness in our spiritual lives, families, careers, businesses, ministries and assignments.

a. Fruitfulness In Our Spiritual Lives

John 15:5 — “He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit.”

Our greatest harvest should begin with spiritual fruit. God desires our lives to produce the fruit of the Spirit and righteousness.

b. Fruitfulness In Our Labour

Deuteronomy 28:12 — “And the LORD shall... bless all the work of thine hand.”

God can cause the work of our hands to become productive and fruitful.

c. Fruitfulness In Our Families

Psalm 128:3 — “Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house.”

We declare fruitfulness, peace and God's blessing upon our homes and families.

d. Fruitfulness In Ministry

John 15:16 — “That ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain.”

Our ministry should produce results that remain beyond temporary excitement and activity.

4. GOD CAN GIVE US A SUPERNATURAL HARVEST

There are times when God does more than ordinary circumstances can explain. He can multiply the seed, accelerate the process and bring an extraordinary harvest.

a. God Gives The Increase

1 Corinthians 3:6 — “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”

We labour faithfully, but ultimately God is the One who gives supernatural increase.

b. God Can Multiply What We Have

2 Corinthians 9:10 — God “both minister seed to the sower, and multiply your seed sown.”

What looks small in our hands can become significant when placed under God's blessing.

c. God Can Restore Lost Harvests

Joel 2:25 — “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.”

God can redeem wasted years and restore opportunities that appeared permanently lost.

d. God Can Give A Harvest Beyond Expectation

Ephesians 3:20 — God is able to do “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.”

Our expectation should be anchored in the limitless ability of God rather than the limitations of our circumstances.

5. WE MUST PREPARE FOR THE HARVEST

A harvest requires preparation. When God opens the door, we must be ready to walk through it. When the harvest comes, we must have the capacity to gather and steward it properly.

a. Prepare Your Heart

Proverbs 4:23 — “Keep thy heart with all diligence.”

A great harvest without a prepared heart can become a great temptation. Character must accompany increase.

b. Prepare Your Hands For Greater Responsibility

Luke 16:10 — “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.”

Faithfulness in little things prepares us for greater opportunities.

c. Prepare To Give God The Glory

Deuteronomy 8:18 — “Thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.”

When the harvest comes, we must never forget the God who gave us the seed, strength and opportunity.

d. Prepare To Become A Blessing

Genesis 12:2 — “I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.”

God does not bless us merely for personal consumption. Our harvest should become a blessing to others and an instrument for advancing God's kingdom.

CONCLUSION

September shall not be another ordinary month for us. We have entered a season in which we are trusting God for the manifestation of what has been sown through prayer, faith, obedience, sacrifice, service and perseverance. We refuse to give up at the edge of our harvest. What God has ordained for us shall come to manifestation in His appointed time.

Therefore, let every weary heart receive fresh strength. Let every farmer of righteousness continue to sow. Let every family expect restoration, every worker expect fruitfulness, every ministry expect increase and every believer expect divine intervention. September 2026 is our month of Divine Harvest; we shall reap, we shall gather, we shall testify, and we shall give God all the glory!
