Description: Faith is the spiritual force that empowers believers to step into realms of exploits and manifest the extraordinary works of God.
INTRODUCTION:
Faith is the foundation of the Christian life, for without it, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). It is the channel through which we connect to God’s power and the key that unlocks the supernatural. Every exploit recorded in Scripture is a product of faith—ordinary men and women believing an extraordinary God.
Exploits are mighty deeds, great accomplishments, and supernatural breakthroughs that go beyond human ability. They happen when faith connects man to the unlimited power of God. A faithless Christian will live a life of limitation, but a faith-filled Christian will walk in victory and wonders.
Beloved, God has designed us for exploits, but it requires faith—faith that sees beyond obstacles, faith that stands firm in trials, and faith that acts upon God’s Word. When faith is alive, exploits become a lifestyle.
1. FAITH IS THE FOUNDATION FOR EXPLOITS
Without faith, it is impossible to achieve exploits because faith connects us to God’s unlimited resources.
a) Faith pleases God (Hebrews 11:6): God responds to those who believe Him wholeheartedly.
b) Faith brings divine approval (Romans 4:20-22): Abraham’s faith was credited to him as righteousness.
c) Faith moves mountains (Matthew 17:20): Nothing is impossible for a believer who walks in faith.
d) Faith brings victory (1 John 5:4): It is by faith we overcome the world.
Biblical Example: By faith, David defeated Goliath with just a sling and a stone, proving that exploits are not by human strength but by faith in God (1 Samuel 17:45-50).
2. FAITH SEES POSSIBILITIES BEYOND LIMITATIONS
Faith does not deny challenges but sees the possibilities of God in the midst of impossibilities.
a) Faith looks beyond the natural (2 Corinthians 5:7): Believers walk by faith and not by sight.
b) Faith calls things into existence (Romans 4:17): Like Abraham, faith declares what God has promised as already done.
c) Faith refuses to accept defeat (Numbers 14:6-9): Joshua and Caleb saw victory where others saw giants.
d) Faith opens doors of miracles (Mark 9:23): All things are possible to those who believe.
Biblical Example: The woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd in faith and received her healing (Mark 5:25-34).
3. FAITH PROVOKES SUPERNATURAL INTERVENTION
When faith is exercised, heaven intervenes, and situations change supernaturally.
a) Faith brings divine response (Matthew 15:28): Jesus answered the Canaanite woman’s faith with a miracle.
b) Faith provokes God’s power (Luke 7:9): The centurion’s faith made Jesus marvel and brought instant healing.
c) Faith silences storms (Mark 4:39-40): Fear limits, but faith commands the storm to cease.
d) Faith produces sudden turnaround (John 11:40): Faith makes us see the glory of God in hopeless situations.
Biblical Example: By faith, Paul and Silas prayed and sang in prison, and God intervened with an earthquake that loosed their chains (Acts 16:25-26).
4. FAITH DEMANDS ACTION FOR EXPLOITS
Faith without works is dead. Exploits require active, obedient, and bold steps of faith.
a) Faith requires obedience (Hebrews 11:8): Abraham obeyed God and became the father of nations.
b) Faith requires sacrifice (Genesis 22:10-12): Abraham’s willingness to offer Isaac proved his faith.
c) Faith requires bold action (James 2:17): True faith acts on God’s Word, not just hears it.
d) Faith produces testimonies (Hebrews 11:33-34): Through faith, believers subdued kingdoms and wrought righteousness.
Biblical Example: Peter stepped out of the boat in faith and walked on water toward Jesus (Matthew 14:28-29).
CONCLUSION:
Faith is the power that translates God’s promises into reality and lifts believers into realms of exploits. To live a life of impact, victory, and greatness, you must cultivate and exercise faith daily. Faith does not ignore challenges but sees them as opportunities for God to display His power.
Beloved, if you want to do exploits in your generation, anchor your faith in God, act upon His Word, and trust Him even in the face of impossibilities. With faith, you are unstoppable and destined for exploits.
