INTRODUCTION:
An altar is a place of spiritual transactions, where covenants are established and enforced. Evil altars are satanic platforms used to manipulate, oppress, and destroy lives and destinies. They are often erected by agents of darkness to channel evil assignments against individuals, families, or communities. In Judges 6, God commanded Gideon to destroy the altar of Baal in his father's house before he could deliver Israel. This shows that confronting and destroying evil altars is a prerequisite for experiencing divine breakthroughs.

1. WHAT ARE EVIL ALTARS?

a) Definition of Evil Altars
Evil altars are spiritual platforms raised by the forces of darkness for demonic activities (1 Kings 13:2).

b) Purpose of Evil Altars
To enforce curses, hinder blessings, and establish satanic dominion (Numbers 23:1-2).

c) Signs of Evil Altars at Work
Recurrent failure, sickness, delay, and unexplainable losses (Judges 6:2-6).

d) Types of Evil Altars
Family altars, communal altars, territorial altars, and personal altars (Deuteronomy 12:2-3).

e) Biblical Example: The altar of Baal in Gideon’s family brought oppression until it was destroyed (Judges 6:25-27).

2. THE POWER OF GOD AGAINST EVIL ALTARS

a) Authority in the Name of Jesus
The name of Jesus destroys all satanic works (Philippians 2:9-10).

b) The Power of the Blood of Jesus
The blood speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).

c) The Word of God as a Weapon
God’s word is a sword that dismantles every evil (Ephesians 6:17).

d) The Fire of the Holy Ghost
The fire of God consumes evil altars (1 Kings 18:38).

e) Biblical Example: Elijah called down fire to destroy the prophets of Baal and their altar (1 Kings 18:30-39).

3. HOW TO IDENTIFY EVIL ALTARS

a) Through Revelation by the Holy Spirit
God reveals hidden things through His Spirit (Daniel 2:22).

b) Dreams and Visions
God uses dreams to expose spiritual realities (Job 33:14-16).

c) Patterns of Bondage
Repeated cycles of failure and affliction may indicate an evil altar (Lamentations 5:7).

d) Territorial or Family History
Research into family or community history can uncover evil practices (Jeremiah 16:11-13).

e) Biblical Example: Josiah discovered and destroyed evil altars during his reign (2 Kings 23:15).

4. HOW TO DESTROY EVIL ALTARS

a) Raise a Prayer Altar to God
Build a relationship with God through prayer and worship (Judges 6:24-26).

b) Break Every Covenant Associated with the Altar
Use the blood of Jesus to nullify demonic agreements (Colossians 2:14-15).

c) Release the Fire of God
Command the fire of the Holy Spirit to consume the altar (Jeremiah 23:29).

d) Renounce and Reject Evil Agreements
Verbally reject any involvement with the altar (2 Corinthians 6:14-16).

e) Biblical Example: Gideon destroyed his father’s altar of Baal and raised an altar to God (Judges 6:25-27).

5. SUSTAINING VICTORY OVER EVIL ALTARS

a) Live a Holy and Consecrated Life
Holiness repels demonic forces (1 Peter 1:16).

b) Stay Rooted in God’s Word
Use the word of God as a daily weapon (Joshua 1:8).

c) Engage in Persistent Prayer and Fasting
Prayer sustains victory over spiritual battles (Luke 18:1).

d) Raise an Altar of Worship to God
Build a lifestyle of worship and thanksgiving (Psalm 22:3).

e) Biblical Example: King Hezekiah cleansed the temple and reinstated true worship, ensuring sustained victory (2 Chronicles 29:15-20).

CONCLUSION:
Evil altars are real and can hinder a person’s progress if left unattended. However, God has given us authority through His word, the name of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit to destroy them. It is time to rise in faith, confront, and utterly destroy every evil altar working against your life, family, and destiny. Victory is guaranteed through Jesus Christ!

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. Every evil altar fighting your destiny is destroyed by fire!

2. You are breaking free from every satanic covenant today!

3. The blood of Jesus nullifies every voice speaking against you.

4. God’s fire will consume every altar of limitation in your life.

5. Your family will no longer be victims of evil manipulations.

6. Every altar delaying your blessings is destroyed now!

7. You will rise above every challenge orchestrated by evil altars.

8. God’s altar of favour will speak over your life and destiny.

9. No weapon formed against you will prosper henceforth.

10. You will walk in total freedom and divine breakthrough!
