Supporting Texts: Psalm 34:19, Daniel 3:24-25, Isaiah 43:1-2

INTRODUCTION:
The eleventh hour signifies the last possible moment before disaster, failure, or loss occurs. It is often when human efforts and solutions have failed, and all hope seems lost. At such moments, God demonstrates His power by delivering His people in ways that defy human understanding. This message examines how God brings divine deliverance even at the most critical and hopeless moments, revealing His glory and faithfulness.

1. GOD’S TIMING IS PERFECT

a) God is Never Late
His timing always aligns with His divine purpose (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

b) God Knows the End from the Beginning
He is the Alpha and Omega (Revelation 22:13).

c) Delays Are Not Denials
What seems delayed is often preparation for a greater testimony (Habakkuk 2:3).

d) God Works Behind the Scenes
He is always at work, even when we don’t see it (John 5:17).

e) Biblical Example: Lazarus was raised after four days, showing God’s power over time (John 11:38-44).

2. DIVINE DELIVERANCE THROUGH ANGELIC INTERVENTION

a) Angels Are God’s Messengers
They execute His will and deliver His people (Psalm 91:11-12).

b) Angelic Deliverance in Times of Danger
Angels are sent to rescue God’s people in critical situations (Acts 5:19-20).

c) Angels Respond to Prayer
The church’s prayers led to Peter’s miraculous escape (Acts 12:5-7).

d) Angels Operate with God’s Authority
They act on divine instructions to bring deliverance (Daniel 6:22).

e) Biblical Example: The angel of the Lord delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fiery furnace (Daniel 3:24-25).

3. THE POWER OF PRAYER IN CRISIS

a) Prayer Activates Heaven’s Response
Persistent prayer leads to divine intervention (James 5:16).

b) Prayer Breaks Chains
Peter’s chains fell off as the church prayed fervently (Acts 12:6-7).

c) Prayer Changes Situations
It turns hopeless situations into testimonies (Philippians 4:6-7).

d) Prayer Invites God’s Presence
God inhabits the praises and prayers of His people (Psalm 22:3).

e) Biblical Example: Paul and Silas prayed and sang hymns, leading to their deliverance from prison (Acts 16:25-26).

4. GOD’S FAITHFULNESS IN CRITICAL MOMENTS

a) God Never Abandons His Children
He is present in our times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

b) God’s Power is Unlimited
Nothing is too hard for Him to accomplish (Jeremiah 32:27).

c) God’s Deliverance is Complete
He saves to the uttermost (Hebrews 7:25).

d) God Turns Tests into Testimonies
What was meant for harm becomes a platform for God’s glory (Genesis 50:20).

e) Biblical Example: The Red Sea parted at the eleventh hour, delivering Israel and destroying their enemies (Exodus 14:21-28).

5. LESSONS FROM DIVINE DELIVERANCE AT THE ELEVENTH HOUR

a) Trust God Completely
Faith in God’s ability to save is crucial (Proverbs 3:5-6).

b) Stay Spiritually Alert
Be watchful and prayerful at all times (1 Peter 5:8).

c) Maintain an Attitude of Worship
Worship invites God’s presence into critical situations (2 Chronicles 20:21-22).

d) Believe in God’s Promises
Hold onto His Word as your anchor in trying times (Isaiah 41:10).

e) Biblical Example: Esther’s fasting and intercession led to divine deliverance for the Jews at the eleventh hour (Esther 7:3-10).
