INTRODUCTION:
In Genesis 8:1, we read, "And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged." The phrase "God remembered" is not because He forgets, but it signifies divine intervention, favour, and fulfilment of His promises. When God remembers you, it is a turning point where His mercy and power bring about a radical change in your life. This sermon explores what it means when God remembers you for help and how to position yourself for such divine remembrance.

1. THE MEANING OF GOD'S REMEMBRANCE

a) God's Remembrance is Divine Intervention
When God remembers, He steps into your situation to bring a solution (Psalm 121:1-2).

b) It is a Fulfilment of His Covenant
God remembers His promises to His people and acts on them (Exodus 2:24-25).

c) A Demonstration of His Mercy and Compassion
God's remembrance is a reflection of His love and mercy (Psalm 136:23).

d) A Shift in Circumstances
When God remembers, there is a turnaround, as seen in the life of Noah (Genesis 8:1).

e) Biblical Example: Rachel's Remembrance (Genesis 30:22-24)
God remembered Rachel, opened her womb, and she gave birth to Joseph, changing her story of barrenness to joy.

God remembered the affliction of His people in Egypt and delivered them with a mighty hand.

Hannah positioned herself for remembrance through fervent prayer and faith, and God answered her.

4. SIGNS THAT GOD HAS REMEMBERED YOU

When God remembers, He opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
