INTRODUCTION:
In Joshua 1:5, God reassured Joshua of His unfailing presence and power, declaring that no man would be able to stand against him. This promise is not only for Joshua but for every believer who walks in alignment with God's will. When God is with you, opposition becomes powerless, and barriers are broken. Today, we explore the principles that make this promise a reality in your life and how to walk in the assurance of divine victory.

1. GOD'S PRESENCE GUARANTEES VICTORY

a) The Assurance of God's Presence
God assured Joshua, "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you" (Joshua 1:5). His presence is the source of victory.

b) God’s Presence Dispels Fear
With God on your side, fear has no place (Psalm 23:4). His presence gives you boldness.

c) Victory is Not by Human Strength
Success is not by might or power but by God's Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).

d) Continuous Fellowship with God
Maintaining a strong relationship with God ensures His presence is with you (John 15:4-5).

e) Biblical Example: Moses overcame Pharaoh and the Red Sea because God was with him (Exodus 14:13-14).

2. DIVINE AUTHORITY MAKES YOU UNSTOPPABLE

a) The Power of God's Command
God’s declaration to Joshua carried divine authority, making His words unbreakable (Isaiah 55:11).

b) Authority over Opponents
Jesus gave us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, making us unstoppable (Luke 10:19).

c) Confidence in God's Backing
Knowing God is with you gives you confidence to confront challenges (Proverbs 3:26).

d) The Word of God as Your Weapon
Declaring God’s promises gives you victory over every opposition (Ephesians 6:17).

e) Biblical Example: David overcame Goliath because he operated under divine authority (1 Samuel 17:45-47).

3. DIVINE PROMISES ARE IRREVOCABLE

a) God is Faithful to His Word
What He says, He will do (Numbers 23:19). His promises are sure.

b) You Are a Covenant Child
God’s covenant with His people ensures His protection and provision (Genesis 17:7).

c) Every Promise is Activated by Faith
By faith, you claim the promises of God (Hebrews 11:6).

d) Standing on the Promises of God
When you declare His promises, you activate them in your life (2 Corinthians 1:20).

e) Biblical Example: Caleb possessed his inheritance because he believed in God's promise (Joshua 14:12-14).

4. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER

a) God Protects His Own
Isaiah 54:17 declares that no weapon fashioned against you will prosper.

b) God Neutralises the Enemy's Plans
Whatever is meant to harm you, God turns it around for your good (Genesis 50:20).

c) God is the Shield Around You
He is your protector and defence (Psalm 3:3).

d) Victory is Assured Through Christ
In Christ, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).

e) Biblical Example: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were unharmed in the fiery furnace because God was with them (Daniel 3:23-27).

5. WALKING IN THE POWER OF GOD'S PROMISE

a) Boldness to Confront Challenges
God’s promise empowers you to face and overcome challenges with courage (Joshua 1:9).

b) Consistency in Obedience
Obedience to God's Word keeps His promises active in your life (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).

c) The Role of Prayer and Faith
Prayer and faith activate the power of God’s promises in your life (Mark 11:24).

d) Trusting God’s Timing
God’s promises manifest in His perfect timing (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

e) Biblical Example: Esther walked in the power of God's promise and saved her people (Esther 4:14-16).

CONCLUSION:
When God is with you, no man can stand against you. This promise assures you of victory, protection, and unstoppable progress. However, it requires faith, obedience, and a steadfast relationship with God. Embrace His presence, declare His promises, and walk in divine authority. Let this be your season of triumph over every opposition.
