INTRODUCTION:
Divine protection is the supernatural covering and defence that God provides for His people. It assures us of safety from harm, danger, and the schemes of the enemy. In a world full of uncertainties, divine protection is the believer’s confidence. God’s protection extends beyond physical safety to spiritual, emotional, and eternal security. This message explores the nature, assurance, and benefits of God’s divine protection.
1. THE NATURE OF DIVINE PROTECTION
a) It Is Supernatural:
God’s protection surpasses human capability (Exodus 13:21-22).
b) It Is Comprehensive:
Covers all aspects of life—physical, spiritual, and emotional (Psalm 125:2).
c) It Is Constant:
God’s protection is unceasing and reliable (Psalm 121:3-4).
d) It Is Covenant-Based:
Divine protection is anchored in God’s promises (Isaiah 41:10).
e) Biblical Example: God protected the Israelites during the plagues in Egypt (Exodus 12:13).
2. KEYS TO ENJOYING DIVINE PROTECTION
a) Dwell in God’s Presence:
Abiding in His presence guarantees safety (Psalm 91:1).
b) Live a Life of Obedience:
Obedience activates God’s promises (Deuteronomy 28:1-7).
c) Have Faith in God’s Power:
Trust in God’s ability to protect (Isaiah 26:3).
d) Use the Word of God:
Declaring God’s promises enforces His protection (Psalm 119:114).
e) Biblical Example: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were protected in the fiery furnace because of their faith (Daniel 3:24-27).
3. ASSURANCE OF DIVINE PROTECTION
a) God Is Our Shield:
He defends us against every attack (Genesis 15:1).
b) No Weapon Can Prevail:
God’s protection nullifies every plan of the enemy (Isaiah 54:17).
c) Angels Are Assigned to Protect Us:
God commands His angels to guard His people (Psalm 91:11).
d) God’s Name Is a Strong Tower:
The righteous find refuge in His name (Proverbs 18:10).
e) Biblical Example: God sent an angel to protect Daniel in the lions’ den (Daniel 6:22).
4. BENEFITS OF DIVINE PROTECTION
a) Peace of Mind:
Trusting God eliminates fear (Philippians 4:6-7).
b) Deliverance from Evil:
God ensures escape from harm (Psalm 34:7).
c) Preservation of Life:
God keeps His people safe from untimely death (Psalm 121:7).
d) Victory Over the Enemy:
Divine protection guarantees triumph over adversaries (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
e) Biblical Example: The Israelites were protected from Pharaoh’s army at the Red Sea (Exodus 14:13-31).
5. HOW TO STAY UNDER DIVINE PROTECTION
a) Maintain a Relationship with God:
Stay connected to the source of protection (John 15:4).
b) Pray Without Ceasing:
Prayer secures divine intervention (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
c) Walk in Holiness:
A righteous life invites God’s covering (Psalm 34:15).
d) Trust in God Completely:
Confidence in God ensures His protection (Psalm 56:3).
e) Biblical Example: Paul was protected during the storm at sea because of his faith in God (Acts 27:22-24).
CONCLUSION:
Divine protection is the believer’s heritage in Christ. God is our refuge, fortress, and shield. As we dwell in His presence, walk in obedience, and trust in His promises, we can confidently face life’s challenges, knowing that we are divinely protected. Rest in the assurance that no harm can come near you because God is your defender.

10. Lord, make me a testimony of Your supernatural protection.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. You are covered by the shadow of the Almighty.
2. Every weapon formed against you shall fail.
3. Angels are on assignment to protect you day and night.
4. No evil will come near your home or family.
5. The Lord will preserve your life from every destruction.
6. You are shielded from every attack of the enemy.
7. The name of the Lord will be your strong tower in times of trouble.
8. God will deliver you from every snare and danger.
9. You will walk in safety because the Lord is your refuge.
10. Divine protection will be your portion all the days of your life.
