INTRODUCTION:
To be remembered early by God is to experience His timely intervention, mercy, and blessings when they are most needed. It is the assurance that God’s plan for your life will unfold at the right time, bringing joy and fulfilment. Early remembrance by God signifies favour that is not delayed, promises fulfilled, and prayers answered. In this sermon, we will examine what it means to be remembered early by God, how to position ourselves for early remembrance, and the blessings it brings.

1. THE MEANING OF DIVINE EARLY REMEMBRANCE

Early remembrance reflects God’s timely attention and intervention in our lives.

a) It Is Divine Favour at the Appointed Time:
God’s timing brings answers and blessings without delay (Habakkuk 2:3).

b) Mercy That Comes Early:
God’s mercy refreshes and renews us for His purpose (Lamentations 3:22-23).

c) Reversal of Delay:
When God remembers you early, it erases years of waiting and brings restoration (Genesis 8:1).

d) Fulfilment of Divine Promises:
Early remembrance ensures that God’s promises are fulfilled promptly (Luke 1:57).

e) Testimony of Divine Faithfulness:
Early remembrance becomes a testimony of God's unfailing love and faithfulness.

Biblical Example:
Hannah, though barren for years, experienced God’s early remembrance after she cried out to Him. God gave her a son, Samuel, at the appointed time (1 Samuel 1:19-20).

2. KEYS TO BEING REMEMBERED EARLY BY GOD

There are spiritual principles that position us for God’s early remembrance.

a) A Life of Prayer and Supplication:
Cry out to God persistently, just as Hannah did (1 Samuel 1:10-11).

b) Faith in God’s Promises:
Believe that God’s word will come to pass in your life (Hebrews 11:6).

c) Living a Life of Righteousness:
Holiness and obedience to God attract His favour (Psalm 5:12).

d) Commitment to God’s Work:
Serve God faithfully; He remembers those who serve Him (Hebrews 6:10).

e) Patience and Trust in God’s Timing:
Trust that God’s timing is perfect and will not fail (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

Biblical Example:
Noah experienced God’s early remembrance after the flood. God caused the waters to subside and restored the earth for Noah and his family (Genesis 8:1).

3. THE BLESSINGS OF EARLY REMEMBRANCE

When God remembers you early, it brings joy and transformation.

a) Restoration of Lost Time:
God compensates for lost time and wasted years (Joel 2:25).

b) Unparalleled Joy and Celebration:
Early remembrance brings uncontainable joy and gladness (Psalm 90:14).

c) Breakthrough and Promotion:
Divine remembrance leads to elevation, as seen in Joseph’s life (Genesis 41:14-16).

d) Testimonies That Glorify God:
Your life becomes a testament to God’s faithfulness and power (Luke 1:58).

e) Divine Establishment:
God’s early remembrance establishes you in His purpose (Psalm 102:13).

Biblical Example:
Elizabeth, who was considered barren, experienced early remembrance when God fulfilled His promise, and she gave birth to John the Baptist (Luke 1:57-58).

4. HINDRANCES TO EARLY REMEMBRANCE

Certain factors can delay or hinder God’s early intervention.

a) Sin and Disobedience:
Sin separates us from God’s mercy and remembrance (Isaiah 59:2).

b) Lack of Faith and Doubt:
Doubt can hinder God’s promises from manifesting (James 1:6-8).

c) Impatience and Complaining:
Complaining instead of trusting delays blessings (Numbers 14:27).

d) Unforgiveness and Bitterness:
Holding grudges can block divine blessings (Matthew 6:14-15).

e) Neglecting God’s Work:
Focusing on self instead of serving God can hinder early remembrance (Haggai 1:9-10).

Biblical Example:
The Israelites’ murmuring and disobedience delayed their entry into the Promised Land (Numbers 14:28-34).

CONCLUSION:
To be remembered early by God is to experience His favour, mercy, and intervention at the perfect time. It requires faith, prayer, righteousness, and trust in His timing. As you cry out to God, He will satisfy you early with His mercy, bringing joy, restoration, and fulfilment to your life. May you experience God’s early remembrance in every area of your life!
