INTRODUCTION:
Divine freshness is the continuous renewal of God’s grace, power, and presence in a believer’s life. It ensures that we are not stale spiritually but remain vibrant, impactful, and relevant in fulfilling our divine mandate. Just as fresh oil signifies newness and vitality, God desires to pour out His fresh anointing upon His people. In this sermon, we will explore what divine freshness is, why we need it, and how we can access it.

1. WHAT IS DIVINE FRESHNESS?

a) A Renewal of Strength
Divine freshness is the renewal of our physical and spiritual strength (Isaiah 40:31).

b) A Fresh Anointing
It signifies a new level of anointing for greater exploits (Psalm 92:10).

c) A Revitalised Spirit
It keeps our spirit man alive and fervent (Romans 12:11).

d) A New Heart and Spirit
God gives us a fresh heart and spirit to align with His purpose (Ezekiel 36:26).

2. WHY DO WE NEED DIVINE FRESHNESS?

c) To Maintain Relevance
Freshness keeps us relevant in our walk with God and in service to others (Psalm 92:14).

Divine freshness ensures spiritual and personal growth (Proverbs 4:18).

e) Biblical Example: Elijah was renewed by God to continue his prophetic ministry (1 Kings 19:7-8).

3. HOW CAN WE ACCESS DIVINE FRESHNESS?

a) Through the Word of God
The Word refreshes and renews our spirit (Psalm 19:7).

b) Through Prayer and Fasting
Prayer unlocks divine renewal and power (Luke 18:1).

c) Through Worship
Worship ushers us into God’s refreshing presence (Acts 3:19).

d) Through the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit renews and anoints us afresh (Titus 3:5).

e) Biblical Example: The disciples received fresh empowerment on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4).

4. SIGNS OF DIVINE FRESHNESS

a) Renewed Vision and Passion
Freshness revives our zeal for God’s work (Habakkuk 2:3).

It strengthens our trust in God’s promises (Hebrews 11:6).

c) Overflowing Joy
Divine freshness fills us with unspeakable joy (Psalm 16:11).
