TOO LOADED TO BE DESPISED

TOO LOADED TO BE DESPISED

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: 1 Samuel 16:6-13

Key Verse: “But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7, KJV)

Supporting Texts: Jeremiah 1:5, 1 Peter 2:9, Ephesians 1:3, 2 Corinthians 4:7, Psalm 139:14, Matthew 5:14-16

INTRODUCTION:
In life, people often judge by what they see on the surface. They may despise you because of your background, appearance, or current condition. But God looks beyond the surface and sees the treasure He placed within you. You are loaded with divine deposits that make you too valuable to be dismissed or ignored.

Many destinies have been underestimated because they did not fit human standards of greatness. But divine destiny is not determined by human approval. When God loads a man with gifts, grace, and purpose, no amount of rejection can cancel His plan.

This message will help you see yourself through God’s eyes, reject the lies of the enemy, and rise with confidence that you are too loaded to be despised.

1. UNDERSTANDING YOUR DIVINE LOADING

a) You carry heaven’s investment (Jeremiah 1:5)
Before you were born, God deposited gifts, callings, and purpose inside you.

b) You are chosen and set apart (1 Peter 2:9)
God has marked you for His glory, making you unique among millions.

c) You are blessed with spiritual riches (Ephesians 1:3)
Every heavenly blessing has already been credited to your account in Christ.

d) You have divine treasures in earthen vessels (2 Corinthians 4:7)
The power within you is greater than the vessel carrying it.

Biblical Example: David — overlooked by his family but loaded with the anointing to be king.

2. WHY PEOPLE DESPISE WHAT GOD HAS LOADED

a) They judge by appearance (1 Samuel 16:7)
People see the outside but cannot discern the inner value.

b) They are blinded by your humble beginnings (John 1:46)
Nazareth was despised, yet the Saviour came from there.

c) They cannot see your future (Genesis 37:8)
Joseph’s brothers despised his dreams because they couldn’t see the fulfillment.

d) They fear the potential you carry (Matthew 2:3)
Herod sought to destroy Jesus because he sensed a threat to his throne.

Biblical Example: Joseph — despised and sold, but destined to rule over nations.

3. HOW TO WALK AS ONE TOO LOADED TO BE DESPISED

a) Know your worth in Christ (Psalm 139:14)
Confidence in your divine design silences the voice of rejection.

b) Stir up your gifts (2 Timothy 1:6)
Keep developing and using what God has deposited in you.

c) Shine your light boldly (Matthew 5:14-16)
Don’t hide your potential; let the world see God’s glory through you.

d) Stay connected to your Source (John 15:5)
Your strength and value flow from your relationship with Christ.

Biblical Example: Esther — a humble orphan girl who rose to become queen because she carried divine favour and purpose.

CONCLUSION:
You are not defined by who despises you; you are defined by the God who designed you. Even if men reject you, the treasure in you will speak for itself. Your assignment is to walk in your divine identity, develop what God has deposited in you, and stay faithful until the fullness of your destiny manifests.

Remember, despising is temporary, but loading is eternal. The same people who looked down on you will one day look up to you because of what God has placed within you.
