INTRODUCTION:
Every child of God is not an accident but a divine project. You were not created to wander through life without direction; you were created with a purpose in mind. That purpose is so important to God that He commits Himself to preserving your life until it is fulfilled.
Many people live in fear of danger, failure, or premature death, but when you understand that God is the Author and Finisher of your destiny, you will realize that nothing can terminate your life before its time. You are preserved—not just to survive—but to accomplish the assignment heaven gave you before you were born.
This message will help you see the divine hand of preservation over your life, remind you of your heavenly assignment, and stir you to live in full confidence that your destiny is secure in God’s plan.
1. GOD’S PURPOSE PRECEDES YOUR PRESERVATION
a) You were ordained before birth (Jeremiah 1:5)
God knew you, called you, and set you apart before you ever entered this world.
b) Your life is tied to divine intention (Isaiah 46:10)
God’s plans are established from the beginning and cannot fail.
c) You are sustained for your assignment (1 Kings 19:4-8)
God strengthens and preserves you to ensure you finish His work.
d) God’s covenant secures your days (Psalm 91:16)
With long life and divine satisfaction, He will fulfill His promises over you.
Biblical Example: Moses — preserved from Pharaoh’s decree because he had a mission to deliver Israel.
2. WAYS GOD PRESERVES HIS CHILDREN FOR PURPOSE
a) Through divine protection (Psalm 121:7-8)
God shields you from harm seen and unseen.
b) Through strategic positioning (Esther 2:17; 4:14)
God places you in the right place at the right time for destiny fulfillment.
c) Through supernatural provision (1 Kings 17:2-6)
God sustains you with the resources needed for your assignment.
d) Through divine interventions (Daniel 6:22)
When the enemy plots destruction, God steps in to deliver you.
Biblical Example: Esther — preserved and positioned in the palace to save her people.
3. LIVING WITH THE CONFIDENCE OF DIVINE PRESERVATION
a) Trusting God’s timing (Habakkuk 2:3)
Your life will not end until your assignment is complete.
b) Refusing fear and anxiety (2 Timothy 1:7)
Faith in God’s preservation drives out fear of danger or delay.
c) Staying aligned with His will (Romans 8:28)
Walking in obedience ensures you remain in His protective covering.
d) Declaring His promises daily (Job 22:28)
Speaking God’s Word over your life reinforces divine preservation.
Biblical Example: Paul — survived shipwrecks, beatings, and imprisonment because his work was not yet finished.
CONCLUSION:
You are not alive by accident. Every day you wake up is another opportunity to advance God’s purpose for your life. The same God who preserved Noah from the flood, Daniel from the lions, and Paul from countless dangers is the same God preserving you now.
Refuse to live in fear. Stand in the confidence that until you have fulfilled heaven’s assignment, no weapon formed against you will prosper. You are preserved for a reason—make every day count for God’s glory.
