INTRODUCTION:
Glory is the divine deposit of God upon a man’s life. It is the beauty, honour, and splendour that God has ordained for every child of destiny. When a man’s glory is shining, his life commands respect, influence, and divine recognition. However, many destinies are under satanic attack, with their glory buried, covered, or delayed. That is why prayers for the release of one’s glory are crucial.
The enemy fights the glory of men because he knows that once your glory is revealed, your destiny will manifest, and you will walk in divine fulfilment. But in Christ, every hidden glory can be restored, every stolen virtue can be recovered, and every delayed manifestation can be accelerated.
This message comes as a prophetic declaration that no matter what the enemy has done, your glory must be released by the power of God.
1. UNDERSTANDING THE NATURE OF GLORY
Glory is not ordinary; it is a heavenly deposit upon a man’s life.
a) Glory as divine covering (Exodus 33:18-23): The glory of God clothes a man with honour and protection.
b) Glory as destiny fulfilment (Jeremiah 1:5): Before you were born, God ordained your destiny and glory.
c) Glory as shining light (Matthew 5:14-16): The glory of God manifests as shining light in a dark world.
d) Glory as divine distinction (Genesis 37:5-9): Glory separates you from the crowd and positions you for greatness.
Biblical Example: Joseph carried glory from childhood, but it was delayed and attacked before finally being revealed in Egypt.
2. ENEMIES OF GLORY
Satan deploys several weapons to hinder, cover, or delay glory.
a) Sin (Romans 3:23): Sin disconnects man from the glory of God.
b) Evil altars (Judges 6:25-28): Altars can contend with one’s rising.
c) Household wickedness (Micah 7:6): Household enemies often attack one’s glory.
d) Glory exchangers (Isaiah 61:7): The devil attempts to swap glory with shame.
Biblical Example: Samson was destined for greatness, but sin and disobedience brought his glory down until mercy restored him.
3. KEYS TO THE RELEASE OF GLORY
For glory to be released, certain spiritual steps must be taken.
a) Prayer and warfare (Matthew 11:12): Glory must be enforced by violent prayers.
b) Holiness and obedience (Isaiah 1:19): Walking in obedience secures divine glory.
c) Faith in God’s promises (Hebrews 11:1): Faith pulls glory from the realm of the unseen to reality.
d) Prophetic declarations (Ezekiel 37:7): Prophetic words release hidden glory.
Biblical Example: Hannah travailed in prayer until her glory was released through the birth of Samuel.
4. DIVINE INTERVENTION FOR GLORY RESTORATION
God intervenes to restore lost or delayed glory.
a) God is the lifter of glory (Psalm 3:3): He lifts the heads of His children.
b) God reverses shame into glory (Isaiah 61:7): Where shame once existed, double glory shall manifest.
c) God restores wasted years (Joel 2:25): Whatever the enemy has eaten, God restores.
d) God beautifies His children (Psalm 149:4): He crowns the humble with salvation and glory.
Biblical Example: Job lost everything, but God restored his glory double-fold (Job 42:10).
5. THE MANIFESTATION OF GLORY
When glory is released, it becomes evident to all.
a) Glory brings honour (Proverbs 3:35): The wise inherit glory.
b) Glory brings relevance (Isaiah 60:15): You will no longer be forsaken but called the joy of many generations.
c) Glory brings fruitfulness (John 15:8): God is glorified when His children bear much fruit.
d) Glory brings divine lifting (1 Samuel 2:8): God lifts the poor out of the dust and sets them among princes.
Biblical Example: David’s glory was hidden in the wilderness, but God revealed it and lifted him to the throne of Israel.
CONCLUSION:
Your glory is your divine identity and heavenly investment. It must not remain buried, exchanged, or delayed. As long as God lives, your glory must be released. Through prayer, holiness, faith, and divine intervention, the Lord will cause your glory to shine forth. The time to arise and shine has come because your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
