WHO IS SPEAKING TO YOU?

Description:
This sermon exposes the vanity of human boasting and the futility of satanic pronouncements when God has not commanded them. It reminds believers that God’s Word alone stands supreme above all voices.

INTRODUCTION:
There are seasons in life when the enemy raises his voice against God’s children. Men, institutions, occult powers, and even circumstances may rise to speak words of intimidation, fear, and destruction. Yet, Scripture asks a profound question: “Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?” (Lamentations 3:37).

Many have attempted to challenge the authority of God in history, but their words backfired. Pharaoh, Sennacherib, Nebuchadnezzar, Goliath, and Herod all made proud statements against God and His people, but they were humbled. Likewise, today, no incantation, curse, decree, or evil utterance against a child of God shall stand.

This message reminds us that man is but dust and ashes. The arm of flesh will fail, but the Word of the Lord is eternal and unshakeable. Beloved, the only voice that matters in your destiny is the voice of God.

1. NO MAN CAN OVERRULE THE VOICE OF GOD

a) The Word of God is supreme
God’s Word is final and cannot be altered by man (Isaiah 55:11).

b) Man is dust and ashes
Man returns to dust; only God’s decree stands forever (Genesis 3:19).

c) The arm of flesh will fail
Human effort is limited; divine authority is unlimited (Jeremiah 17:5).

d) Every other voice must bow
At the name of Jesus, every knee must bow (Philippians 2:10-11).

Biblical Example: David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17:8-11). David was not impressed by Goliath’s boasting but trusted the Word of the Lord.

2. THE FOLLY OF CHALLENGING THE UNCHALLENGEABLE

a) Pharaoh’s Arrogance
Exodus 5:2 – He said, “Who is the Lord?” but later bowed in defeat.

b) Sennacherib’s Pride
Isaiah 36:18-21 – He mocked God but was destroyed by the angel of the Lord.

c) Nebuchadnezzar’s Threats
Daniel 3:15 – He asked, “Who is that God that shall deliver you?” Yet the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered by fire.

d) Herod’s Blasphemy
Acts 12:21-23 – He accepted divine glory and was smitten by worms.

Biblical Example: Each of these rulers spoke against God but their end was destruction, proving that no one can challenge the Almighty and prevail.

3. THE SUPERIORITY OF DIVINE DECREE OVER HUMAN PRONOUNCEMENTS

a) God’s decree cannot be cancelled
Whatever God says must stand (Numbers 23:19-20).

b) Satanic pronouncements are powerless
No enchantment or divination can prosper against God’s people (Numbers 23:23).

c) Experts can be overruled
Doctors, lawyers, or scientists may speak, but God has the final word (Proverbs 21:30).

d) Heaven’s verdict overrules the earth
God frustrates the counsel of the crafty (Job 5:12).

4. THE FAITH RESPONSE TO EVIL PRONOUNCEMENTS

a) Reject and cancel negative decrees
Condemn every tongue that rises against you (Isaiah 54:17).

b) Declare God’s Word boldly
Use Scripture as your weapon (Ephesians 6:17).

c) Refuse to remain in bondage
Decide to break free from oppression (Esther 4:16).

d) Turn the battle over to God
Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14:13-14).

Biblical Example: Esther’s boldness “If I perish, I perish” (Esther 4:16). Her courage overruled the enemy’s decree.

5. JESUS – THE UNCHALLENGEABLE POWER

a) All power belongs to Him
Matthew 28:18 – All authority in heaven and earth belongs to Jesus.

b) His name is above every name
Philippians 2:9 – At His name every knee bows.

c) No power has ever silenced the gospel
Attempts to destroy Christianity always fail (Matthew 16:18).

d) Jesus is power personified
He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

Illustration: There used to be a French man called Voltaire who boasted that he would devote all his energy to the destruction of every Bible in France. He died. Printing was invented. A Christian press bought his house, and Bibles were printed in that place.

CONCLUSION:
Beloved, no matter what pronouncement, incantation, curse, or decree is spoken against you, it cannot stand unless the Lord has commanded it. Human boasting collapses before divine authority. The only words that matter in your destiny are the words God has spoken. Therefore, rise in faith, declare the Word of the Lord, and watch every enemy of your destiny be silenced.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.  Holy Ghost fire, silence every evil voice speaking against my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

2.  Every wicked arrangement to make me a stranger in my land, scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.

3.  Negative prayers, negative dreams, and negative visions assigned against my life, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.

4. O Lord, usher me into open doors of laughter, in the name of Jesus.

5.  Great things that have never happened in my lineage, manifest in my life, in the name of Jesus.

6.  Every Goliath boasting against my destiny, fall and die, in the name of Jesus.

7.  Any power challenging my prayers and my faith, be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.

8.  O Lord, cancel every evil decree issued against my health, finances, and family, in the name of Jesus.

9.   Every Pharaoh holding my progress, release me and die, in the name of Jesus.

10.   Lord Jesus, let Your overruling voice speak favour, victory, and breakthrough into my life, in the name of Jesus.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

1.  Every evil voice raised against you shall be silenced forever in Jesus’ name.

2.  Those who are challenging your God shall be openly disgraced in Jesus’ name.

3.  Every Goliath boasting against your destiny shall fall before you in Jesus’ name.

4.  The decree of the Lord shall override every decree of man in your life.

5.  Where men have said “no,” God will give you a resounding “yes.”

6.  Your enemies will see the power of God and bow before you.

7.  Every satanic proclamation over your family is hereby reversed in Jesus’ name.

8.  From today, your life will speak louder than the voices of your adversaries.

9.  Every altar that has risen against you shall catch fire in Jesus’ name.

10.  The overruling voice of God will announce your victory and breakthrough this season.
