Description: No matter the affliction, delay, stagnation, or trial you face, God has destined you to live, rise, and testify to His glory.
INTRODUCTION:
Life presents us with situations that sometimes appear hopeless and unbearable. These conditions can be sickness, poverty, shame, stagnation, delay, or battles that seem endless. Many give up in such times, believing that things will never change.
But as children of God, we must boldly declare by faith: “I will not die in this condition.” Your present circumstance is not your final destination. God has better plans for you—plans of good and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Beloved, no matter how long you have been in your condition, the power of God is available to change your story. Just as He raised Lazarus from the grave, delivered Israel from Egypt, and lifted Joseph from prison to the palace, He will also bring you out of that condition.
1. YOUR CONDITION IS NOT YOUR CONCLUSION
You may be in a difficult state now, but it is not your end.
a) God has a future for you (Jeremiah 29:11)
Your present situation cannot cancel God’s plan.
b) Trials are temporary (2 Corinthians 4:17)
Affliction lasts for a moment but produces glory.
c) Your story will change (Job 14:14)
A change is appointed for every child of God.
d) God has the final say (Lamentations 3:37)
Only His word stands over your life.
Biblical Example: Joseph did not die in the pit or the prison; his destiny was the palace (Genesis 41:14).
2. THE DANGER OF DYING IN YOUR CONDITION
The enemy wants people to perish in their affliction, but you must resist him.
a) Satan uses conditions to imprison destinies (Luke 13:16)
The woman was bound for 18 years.
b) Staying in the wrong mindset prolongs affliction (Numbers 14:2-4)
Israel’s negative confession kept them in the wilderness.
c) Hopelessness opens the door to death (Proverbs 18:21)
Words of despair can kill destiny.
d) Giving up is surrendering to the enemy (John 10:10)
The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
Biblical Example: The lame man at the pool of Bethesda almost died in that condition until Jesus intervened (John 5:5-9).
3. HOW TO BREAK OUT OF YOUR CONDITION
There are keys God has given to escape and rise above affliction.
a) Faith declarations (Psalm 118:17)
Speak life and victory over your condition.
b) Prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29)
Some situations break only by spiritual force.
c) Obedience to divine instructions (2 Kings 7:3-8)
The lepers moved forward and found deliverance.
d) Refusal to give up (Micah 7:8)
Even if you fall, rise again by faith.
Biblical Example: Hannah refused to accept barrenness as her final condition—she prayed until God gave her Samuel (1 Samuel 1:10-20).
4. GOD SPECIALISES IN CHANGING CONDITIONS
No condition is too hard for God to turn around.
a) He delivers from the fire (Isaiah 43:2)
You will not be consumed by your trials.
b) He raises the dead (John 11:25)
Even dead situations can live again.
c) He restores wasted years (Joel 2:25)
God can recover what delay has stolen.
d) He lifts the poor from the dust (Psalm 113:7-8)
He changes stories supernaturally.
Biblical Example: The man at the Beautiful Gate did not die a beggar—Peter declared healing, and his story changed instantly (Acts 3:6-8).
CONCLUSION:
Beloved, the valley you are in now is not your graveyard. Your sickness, delay, poverty, or stagnation is not your end. You will not die in this condition; you will live to testify of the goodness of God.
Rise in faith, refuse to surrender, and declare boldly: “This condition is not permanent. My God is changing my story!”
PRAYER POINTS:
