OH LORD!  MOVE ME FORWARD

INTRODUCTION:
Life is a journey, and God never intends for His children to remain stagnant. The command of the Lord to Moses in Exodus 14:15, “Tell the children of Israel to go forward,” was not just about physical movement; it was a call to break limitations, overcome fear, and enter into the next phase of God’s purpose. Many believers are stuck due to spiritual opposition, past failures, self-doubt, or invisible barriers. But when God says “move forward,” every Red Sea must part, and every obstacle must give way.

Forward movement in God is not just about speed—it is about divine direction, progress, and fulfilment of destiny. God desires that you advance in your spiritual life, career, ministry, family, and purpose. Today’s message is a prophetic call for forward advancement in every area of your life.

1. GOD’S DESIRE IS FOR HIS CHILDREN TO PROGRESS

a) God calls us out of stagnation (Deuteronomy 1:6-7)
God is not pleased when His people remain in one spot spiritually or physically. He wants us to rise and move.

b) God’s plan is from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18)
Progress is a mark of divine presence.

c) Stagnation is contrary to God’s nature (Proverbs 4:18)
The path of the righteous is designed to shine brighter.

d) God moves with His people as they obey (Joshua 3:3-4)
When God leads, forward movement becomes unstoppable.

Biblical Example: Israel moving from Egypt to the Promised Land (Exodus 12-14)

2. FORCES THAT HINDER FORWARD MOVEMENT

a) Fear and unbelief (Numbers 13:31-33)
Fear paralyses progress and blinds you to God’s promises.

b) Sin and disobedience (Joshua 7:1-5)
Disobedience closes doors of advancement.

c) Wrong associations (1 Corinthians 15:33)
Certain people can slow or stop your journey.

d) Demonic embargoes and spiritual resistance (Daniel 10:12-13)
Satan fights to keep believers in one spot.

Biblical Example: The lame man at the Beautiful Gate (Acts 3:1-8) who was stagnant for years until divine intervention came.

3. DIVINE STRATEGIES FOR MOVING FORWARD

a) Hear and obey God’s instruction (Isaiah 30:21)
Your next step is hidden in His voice.

b) Apply the power of prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21)
Some limitations only break through prayer.

c) Step out in faith (Hebrews 11:8)
God moves when you move in obedience.

d) Break negative patterns and covenants (Isaiah 10:27)
The yoke must be destroyed for progress to happen.

Biblical Example: David pursuing and overtaking the enemy (1 Samuel 30:8)

4. THE RESULTS OF DIVINE FORWARD MOVEMENT

a) Fulfilment of destiny (Jeremiah 29:11)
Moving forward brings you into God’s expected end.

b) Enlargement of territory (1 Chronicles 4:10)
Your influence and blessings will expand.

c) Restoration of lost time and opportunities (Joel 2:25)
God can redeem wasted years.

d) Victory over enemies (Psalm 44:5)
Forward movement crushes opposition.

Biblical Example: Paul pressing toward the mark (Philippians 3:13-14)

5. PROPHETIC DECLARATION FOR FORWARD MOVEMENT

a) No Red Sea can stop you (Exodus 14:21)
God will make a way where there is no way.

b) Your destiny will not be stranded (Psalm 138:8)
The Lord will perfect all that concerns you.

c) Your enemies will be left behind (Exodus 14:27-28)
Those who pursue you will be overtaken by God’s judgement.

d) God will accelerate your journey (Amos 9:13)
Delays will turn into divine speed.

Biblical Example: Elijah outrunning Ahab’s chariot (1 Kings 18:46)

CONCLUSION:
When God says “move forward,” no power can keep you in the same place. It is time to break every limitation and take steps into your next level. Refuse to dwell on past failures, refuse to be intimidated by present challenges, and obey God’s call to advance. Your destiny is not behind you—it is ahead of you.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, in the name of Jesus, every power holding me in one spot, break now!
2. Lord, open my eyes to divine directions that will move me forward.
3. Every demonic embargo on my progress, scatter by fire!
4. Lord, accelerate my journey into destiny.
5. Father, deliver me from fear and unbelief.
6. Lord, restore every lost opportunity in my life.
7. Every covenant of backwardness in my foundation, break in Jesus’ name.
8. Lord, make a way for me where there seems to be no way.
9. My destiny, refuse to be stranded!
10. Father, cause me to overtake those ahead of me by divine speed.

GOD’S WORD FOR YOU TODAY:
1. You are moving from stagnation into supernatural speed.
2. No Red Sea will stop your journey to destiny.
3. Your enemies will not be able to catch up with you.
4. Divine acceleration is coming upon every area of your life.
5. Your next level will manifest without delay.
