Description: God desires His people to move from one level of glory to another as they walk in obedience, faith, and intimate fellowship with Him.
INTRODUCTION
God is a God of progress, increase, and continual advancement. His divine purpose is not for His children to remain stagnant but to experience growth in every area of life. Throughout Scripture, God consistently moved His people from seasons of limitation into seasons of greater glory. Every new season presents fresh opportunities for divine visitation, restoration, promotion, and fulfilment of His promises.
The month of July is therefore a prophetic reminder that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Regardless of the disappointments, delays, or battles of the previous months, God has the power to usher His people into a new dimension of favour, grace, peace, fruitfulness, and supernatural breakthroughs.
As we enter this new month with faith and expectation, we must align ourselves with God's Word through obedience, prayer, holiness, diligence, and unwavering trust in Him. Those who remain steadfast in the Lord will surely experience greater glory than ever before.
1. GOD IS THE AUTHOR OF GREATER GLORY
Every genuine glory comes from God alone. He delights in lifting His people from one level of honour to another.
a. God Promises Greater Glory (Haggai 2:9)
The Lord declared that the latter glory would surpass the former.
b. God is the Giver of Honour (Psalm 84:11)
The Lord withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly.
c. Promotion Comes from God (Psalm 75:6-7)
True elevation is not determined by man but by God's sovereign hand.
d. God's Glory Reflects His Presence (Exodus 33:18-19)
The greatest blessing is to experience God's manifest presence.
Biblical Example: Solomon dedicated the temple, and the glory of the Lord filled the house so powerfully that the priests could not continue ministering (2 Chronicles 5:13-14).
2. GREATER GLORY COMES THROUGH SPIRITUAL GROWTH
Believers experience increasing glory as they mature in their relationship with God.
a. Grow in the Knowledge of Christ (2 Peter 3:18)
Spiritual maturity prepares believers for greater responsibilities.
b. Be Transformed by the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18)
The Holy Spirit continually changes believers into Christ's likeness.
c. Remain in God's Word (John 15:7)
Abiding in Christ produces lasting spiritual fruit.
d. Pursue Holiness Daily (Hebrews 12:14)
Holiness positions believers to experience God's glory.
Biblical Example: Moses spent time in God's presence, and his face reflected God's glory when he descended from Mount Sinai (Exodus 34:29-35).
3. GREATER GLORY REQUIRES FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
God's promises become realities when believers trust Him and obey His instructions.
a. Walk by Faith (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Faith enables believers to embrace God's promises confidently.
b. Obey God's Voice Promptly (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)
Obedience attracts divine blessings and favour.
c. Persevere Through Challenges (James 1:2-4)
Trials develop spiritual maturity and prepare believers for greater glory.
d. Trust God's Timing (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
God makes everything beautiful in His appointed time.
Biblical Example: Abraham obeyed God's call by faith and became the father of many nations according to God's promise (Genesis 12:1-4).
4. GOD RESTORES BEFORE HE GLORIFIES
Many times, God restores what has been lost before bringing His people into greater honour.
a. God Restores Lost Years (Joel 2:25-27)
The Lord is able to recover every wasted opportunity.
b. God Turns Mourning into Joy (Psalm 30:11)
God replaces sorrow with rejoicing.
c. God Brings Beauty from Ashes (Isaiah 61:3)
He transforms broken lives into testimonies of His grace.
d. Your Latter End Shall Increase (Job 8:7)
God's final outcome is often greater than the beginning.
Biblical Example: Job endured severe trials, but God restored him with twice as much as he possessed before (Job 42:10-17).
5. WALK INTO YOUR GREATER GLORY
God calls His people to arise confidently into the future He has prepared for them.
a. Arise and Shine (Isaiah 60:1-3)
The glory of the Lord empowers believers to become lights in a dark world.
b. Forget Former Limitations (Isaiah 43:18-19)
God is doing a new thing that requires renewed expectation.
c. Continue Pressing Forward (Philippians 3:13-14)
Believers should pursue God's highest purpose without looking back.
d. Give God All the Glory (1 Corinthians 10:31)
Every blessing received should bring honour to God's holy name.
Biblical Example: Joseph moved from imprisonment to becoming the Prime Minister of Egypt, demonstrating God's power to transform humiliation into extraordinary glory (Genesis 41:39-44).
CONCLUSION
God has ordained that His children should move from glory to glory as they remain faithful to Him. No previous disappointment, delay, or setback can prevent God from fulfilling His purpose. The Lord who began a good work in you is able to complete it and bring you into greater honour, greater influence, and greater fruitfulness.
As you enter this month of July, embrace God's promises with unwavering faith. Walk in obedience, remain steadfast in prayer, meditate upon His Word, and expect His supernatural intervention.
