Description: The miracles of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew reveal His divine authority, compassion, power, and identity as the Son of God and promised Messiah.
INTRODUCTION
The Gospel of Matthew presents Jesus Christ not only as a teacher and preacher but also as a miracle-working Saviour. Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus performed numerous miracles that demonstrated His divine power over sickness, nature, demons, sin, and even death. These miracles were not mere displays of supernatural ability; they were signs that revealed His identity as the Son of God and the promised Messiah foretold by the prophets.
Matthew carefully records many of these miraculous events to show that Jesus possessed authority beyond human limitations. The blind received sight, the lame walked, lepers were cleansed, storms were calmed, demons were cast out, and the dead were raised. Each miracle pointed people toward a deeper understanding of who Jesus truly was and invited them to place their faith in Him.
The miracles of Jesus remain relevant today because they reveal the unchanging nature of God. They remind believers that Christ is still able to heal, deliver, provide, protect, and intervene in human situations. Studying these miracles strengthens faith, inspires confidence in God's power, and encourages believers to trust Him in every circumstance.

The winds and sea submitted to His authority.
