INTRODUCTION
In Romans 15:14-33, Paul opens his heart to the believers in Rome by explaining his ministry, missionary vision, and future plans. He expresses confidence in their spiritual maturity while reminding them of his God-given calling to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles. His life reveals an unwavering passion to make Christ known where He had not yet been proclaimed.

Paul's missionary heart was driven neither by personal ambition nor by the pursuit of fame. His deepest desire was to glorify God by bringing people to salvation through Jesus Christ. He willingly endured persecution, hardship, imprisonment, and rejection because he understood that the Gospel is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes.

This passage challenges every believer to embrace God's mission. Although not everyone is called to travel across nations like Paul, every Christian is called to participate in the spread of the Gospel through prayer, giving, witnessing, encouragement, and faithful service. A missionary heart is ultimately a heart that seeks the salvation of others above personal comfort.

1. A MISSIONARY HEART IS DRIVEN BY GOD'S CALL
Effective ministry begins with a clear understanding of God's calling.

a) Recognise Your Divine Assignment (Romans 15:15-16)
Paul understood that God had appointed him to minister to the Gentiles.

b) Minister By God's Grace (Romans 15:15)
Every ministry is made possible by God's grace rather than human ability.

c) Present Lives To God (Romans 15:16)
The goal of ministry is to lead people into a holy relationship with Christ.

d) Respond Willingly To God's Call (Isaiah 6:8)
God honours those who willingly make themselves available for His service.

Biblical Example: Isaiah (Isaiah 6:1-8). After encountering God's holiness, Isaiah responded, "Here am I; send me," demonstrating complete surrender to God's mission.

2. A MISSIONARY HEART SEEKS CHRIST'S GLORY
True ministry points people to Christ rather than to human achievement.

a) Boast Only In Christ (Romans 15:17-18)
Paul gave all glory to Christ for every ministry success.

b) Depend On The Power Of The Holy Spirit (Romans 15:18-19)
Effective ministry is accomplished through God's power, not human strength.

c) Live To Glorify Christ (Philippians 1:20-21)
The believer's highest ambition should be the honour of Jesus Christ.

d) Remain Humble In Service (1 Corinthians 3:5-7)
God alone gives the increase, while His servants faithfully labour.

Biblical Example: John the Baptist (John 3:30). John declared, "He must increase, but I must decrease," showing that Christ alone deserves the glory.

3. A MISSIONARY HEART REACHES THE UNREACHED
The Gospel must be proclaimed wherever Christ is not yet known.

a) Preach Where Christ Has Not Been Named (Romans 15:20-21)
Paul intentionally sought unreached people with the message of salvation.

b) Obey The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)
Jesus commands every believer to participate in making disciples of all nations.

c) Endure Hardship For The Gospel (Acts 20:22-24)
Faithful ministry often requires sacrifice and perseverance.

d) Use Every Opportunity To Witness (2 Timothy 4:2)
Believers should be ready to proclaim Christ in every season.

Biblical Example: Philip (Acts 8:26-40). Philip obeyed God's leading, shared the Gospel with the Ethiopian official, and witnessed his conversion and baptism.

4. A MISSIONARY HEART VALUES PARTNERSHIP AND PRAYER
God's mission is accomplished through cooperation among His people.

a) Support One Another In Ministry (Romans 15:24)
Paul desired fellowship and partnership with the believers in Rome.

b) Pray For Those In Ministry (Romans 15:30-31)
Intercessory prayer strengthens God's servants and advances the Gospel.

c) Give Generously To God's Work (Romans 15:25-27)
Supporting ministry financially is an important expression of Christian love.

d) Trust God For Open Doors (Colossians 4:2-4)
The Lord alone opens hearts and provides opportunities for effective ministry.

Biblical Example: The Church at Antioch (Acts 13:1-3). The believers prayed, fasted, and sent Paul and Barnabas on their missionary journey, becoming active partners in world evangelisation.

CONCLUSION
Romans 15:14-33 reveals the heart of a servant completely devoted to God's mission. Paul's life was characterised by humility, obedience, sacrifice, dependence upon the Holy Spirit, and an unquenchable passion to make Christ known. His example reminds believers that the Gospel is too precious to keep to ourselves and that every Christian has a role in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Therefore, let us cultivate the missionary heart of Paul by seeking God's calling, living for Christ's glory, sharing the Gospel boldly, supporting God's work, and praying faithfully for those on the mission field. As we commit ourselves to God's mission, many lives will be transformed, churches will be strengthened, and the name of Jesus Christ will be exalted among all nations.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, thank You for calling me into Your Kingdom and making me a witness for Jesus Christ, in Jesus name.

2. Lord, give me a missionary heart that longs to see souls saved, in Jesus name.

3. Father, fill me with boldness to preach and share the Gospel wherever You send me, in Jesus name.

5. Father, remove every fear, discouragement, and distraction that hinders me from fulfilling my divine assignment, in Jesus name.

6. Lord, open doors for the Gospel to reach those who have never heard the name of Jesus, in Jesus name.

7. Father, strengthen every missionary, pastor, evangelist, and Christian worker across the world, in Jesus name.

8. Lord, make me a faithful partner through prayer, giving, and practical support for Your work, in Jesus name.

9. Father, let my life continually bring glory to Jesus Christ and advance Your Kingdom, in Jesus name.

10. Lord, help me to finish my race faithfully and fulfil every purpose You have ordained for my life, in Jesus name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS

1. The Lord shall fill your heart with a burning passion for the salvation of souls.

2. You shall fulfil your divine assignment with boldness, wisdom, and faithfulness.

3. Every obstacle standing against your ministry and calling shall be removed by the power of God.

4. The Holy Spirit shall empower you to preach the Gospel with signs of His presence following.

5. You shall never grow weary or discouraged in the work of the Lord.

6. God shall open new doors of ministry and enlarge your sphere of influence for His Kingdom.

7. Through your life and ministry, many souls shall be saved and established in Christ.

8. The Lord shall surround you with faithful partners who will support His work.

9. You shall finish your Christian race with joy and receive the crown prepared for faithful servants.

10. From this day forward, you shall carry the missionary heart of Christ, proclaim the Gospel with courage, fulfil your divine commission, impact generations for the Kingdom of God, and bring everlasting glory to the name of Jesus Christ, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
