DELIVERANCE FROM EVIL DREAMS AND NIGHT TERRORS

INTRODUCTION:
Dreams are one of the most powerful spiritual communication channels in the realm of the spirit. God speaks through dreams (Job 33:14-16), but so does the devil. Evil dreams and night terrors are often spiritual attacks orchestrated by satanic forces to sow fear, bondage, and pollution into the life of a person while they sleep.

Many people wake up tired, afraid, or confused, having experienced nightmares, sexual encounters, food consumption, or animal attacks in their sleep. These are not ordinary events—they are operations from the realm of darkness. The enemy comes while men sleep to plant tares and manipulate destinies (Matthew 13:25).

Deliverance from evil dreams is not automatic. It takes discernment, strategic prayer, and walking in spiritual authority. God wants to restore your night seasons so you can sleep in peace and receive divine revelations, not demonic oppressions.

1. UNDERSTANDING EVIL DREAMS AND NIGHT TERRORS

a) Evil Dreams Are Spiritual Attacks: They are gateways for satanic operations (Matthew 13:25).

b) Dreams Can Defile or Delay Destiny: Many destinies have been caged through dreams (Isaiah 29:7-8).

c) Night Terrors Are Demonic Tactics: They release fear, paralysis, and spiritual harassment (Psalm 91:5).

d) God Can Reveal or Warn Through Dreams: Not all dreams are evil—some are divine (Daniel 2:1-2).

Biblical Example: Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar received destiny-altering dreams that only God could interpret (Genesis 41; Daniel 2).

2. TYPES OF EVIL DREAMS TO REJECT

a) Eating in the Dream: Sign of spiritual manipulation, initiation, or pollution (Isaiah 29:8).

b) Sexual Intercourse in the Dream: Spirit spouse activity meant to hinder marriage or progress (Genesis 6:2-4).

c) Chased by Animals or Unknown Persons: Indicates fear, monitoring spirits, or witchcraft (Psalm 22:20-21).

d) Seeing Dead Relatives or Attending Funerals: Symbol of death, delay, or ancestral bondage (Ecclesiastes 9:5-6).

Biblical Example: Pilate’s wife had a troubling dream about Jesus and warned her husband (Matthew 27:19).

3. CAUSES OF EVIL DREAMS AND NIGHT TERRORS

a) Open Doors of Sin or Fear: These give legal ground to demonic entry (Ephesians 4:27).

b) Inherited Altars and Covenants: Generational agreements influence dream life (Lamentations 5:7).

c) Demonic Projections and Monitoring Spirits: Satanic agents attack during sleep (Psalm 140:4).

d) Ungodly Environments and Influences: Negative music, movies, or objects can pollute your sleep (1 Thessalonians 5:22).

Biblical Example: King Saul, after disobedience, could no longer hear from God—even through dreams (1 Samuel 28:6).

4. HOW TO DEAL WITH EVIL DREAMS AND NIGHT TERRORS

a) Cancel Them Immediately in Prayer: Don’t ignore them—reject and reverse them (Matthew 18:18).

b) Anoint Yourself and Your Environment: The anointing breaks the yoke (Isaiah 10:27).

c) Engage in Midnight and Early Morning Prayers: Counter the enemy’s activities with spiritual warfare (Psalm 46:5).

d) Fill Your Mind with the Word and Worship: Keep a holy atmosphere around you (Philippians 4:8).

Biblical Example: Joseph was warned in a dream to flee to Egypt and obeyed quickly (Matthew 2:13-14).

5. MAINTAINING DELIVERANCE OVER YOUR DREAM LIFE

a) Guard Your Heart Daily: Dream life reflects spiritual condition (Proverbs 4:23).

b) Plead the Blood of Jesus Before Sleep: The blood protects from demonic access (Exodus 12:13).

c) Speak Peace Over Your Night: Declare restful, revelation-filled sleep (Psalm 4:8).

d) Reject Every Dream That Contradicts God’s Word: God does not sponsor fear or torment (2 Timothy 1:7).

Biblical Example: Jacob had a divine dream of a ladder to heaven—proof that God governs dreams (Genesis 28:12-16).

CONCLUSION:
Evil dreams and night terrors are satanic weapons to destabilise lives and delay destinies. But as children of light, we are not to be victims of such oppression. Through the authority of Christ, every satanic programme in the dream realm can be cancelled.

God desires your night to be peaceful, prophetic, and restful. From today, the atmosphere of your dreams shall change. Your sleep shall become a channel of divine encounter, not demonic attack. You are delivered and preserved.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, thank You for the authority to rule even in my dream life.
2. I cancel every evil dream and demonic activity programmed against me.
3. Every spirit of fear, night terror, and torment—be cast out now!
4. I break every covenant and link with spirit spouses and evil altars.
5. I sanctify my sleep and environment with the blood of Jesus.
6. Every demonic food or attack in the dream, be neutralised by fire.
7. I recover every virtue and blessing stolen through dreams.
8. I decree peaceful, prophetic, and protected sleep from tonight.
9. Let fire surround my bed and dreams to consume every intruder.
10. O Lord, speak to me clearly through holy and divine dreams.

GOD'S WORD FOR YOU TODAY:
1. No more nightmares—your nights shall be filled with peace.
2. Every evil dream you’ve had is reversed and powerless.
3. The Lord shall visit you with divine encounters in your sleep.
4. Your dream life shall become a channel for divine guidance.
5. Your sleep shall be sweet, restful, and full of revelation.
