INTRODUCTION:
Life presents many people with conditions that seem like permanent verdicts. Jabez was introduced in Scripture as a man whose very name meant pain and whose condition reflected rejection, limitation, and sorrow. Yet, the same man cried out to God and his story was rewritten forever.

The story of Jabez is a powerful reminder that no matter your background, your struggles, or your present circumstances, God has the power to change your condition into a glorious conclusion. His life teaches us that destiny is not determined by human labelling but by divine intervention.

In this message, we will explore lessons from Jabez’s transformation, to remind us that what you are going through is not the end of your story—God has a better conclusion prepared for you.

1. YOUR CONDITION DOES NOT DEFINE YOUR IDENTITY

a) Labels of men are not the verdict of God (Isaiah 43:1) - Jabez was labelled “pain,” but God saw greatness in him.

b) Your beginning does not determine your end (Job 8:7) - Though Jabez started in sorrow, he ended in honour.

c) Identity is rooted in Christ, not in circumstances (2 Corinthians 5:17) - You are a new creation; your past cannot define your future.

d) People may define you by your problem, but God defines you by His promise (Jeremiah 1:5)- God has called you before your struggle ever began.

Biblical Example: Gideon was seen as the least in his father’s house, but God called him a mighty man of valour (Judges 6:11-12).

2. PRAYER CAN CHANGE YOUR STORY

a) Jabez cried unto God (1 Chronicles 4:10) - He did not remain silent in his pain; he prayed.

b) Prayer is the key that opens the door of transformation (Matthew 7:7) - Asking brings answers, and seeking brings discovery.

c) God delights in answering heartfelt prayers (Jeremiah 33:3) - His call was not ignored; God responded.

d) Prayer moves you from limitation to expansion (James 5:16) -The earnest prayer of the righteous produces results.

Biblical Example: Hannah prayed, and her barrenness was turned into fruitfulness (1 Samuel 1:9-20).

3. DIVINE BLESSING CANCELS GENERATIONAL CURSES

a) Jabez asked God to bless him indeed (1 Chronicles 4:10) - He desired divine intervention, not human sympathy.

b) The blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow (Proverbs 10:22) - Blessing reverses sorrow.

c) God’s blessing breaks limitations of ancestry (Galatians 3:13–14) - Christ redeems us from every curse.

d) When God blesses you, your past pains lose power (Isaiah 65:19) - No sorrow can cancel divine joy.

Biblical Example: Jacob’s name was changed to Israel, breaking away from the identity of deceit (Genesis 32:24-28).

4. GOD CAN ENLARGE YOUR TERRITORY

a) Jabez asked for enlargement (1 Chronicles 4:10) - Enlargement is God’s plan for His children.

b) God expands the boundaries of those who trust Him (Psalm 115:14) - Increase is a covenant promise.

c) God moves you from obscurity to visibility (Isaiah 54:2–3) - He stretches your capacity.

d) Limitation is not permanent when God is involved (Exodus 1:7) - Israel multiplied in the land of affliction.

Biblical Example: Joseph was enlarged from a prisoner to a prime minister (Genesis 41:39-44).

5. GOD CAN TURN YOUR SORROW INTO HONOUR

a) Jabez prayed to be kept from evil (1 Chronicles 4:10) - He desired preservation from pain.

b) God specialises in turning mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11) -  Pain is not permanent when God steps in.

c) Honour replaces shame in God’s plan (Isaiah 61:7) - Where you were despised, God will cause you to be celebrated.

d) God is faithful to bring beauty out of ashes (Romans 8:28) - He makes everything work for good.

Biblical Example: Mordecai went from sitting at the king’s gate in sackcloth to being clothed in royal garments of honour (Esther 6:10–11).

CONCLUSION:
The life of Jabez proves that your present pain is not your permanent portion. He was born in sorrow but ended in honour because he turned to God. Your condition is not your conclusion—God has written a better ending for your life. No matter the labels, curses, or struggles you may face, God is able to turn your story around for glory.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, thank You because my condition is not my conclusion.
2. O Lord, rewrite every negative story concerning my life.
3. Father, bless me indeed and enlarge my territory.
4. Every curse working against my life, break by fire in Jesus’ name.
5. Lord, turn my pain into joy and my sorrow into dancing.
6. O Lord, keep me from every form of evil and calamity.
7. Father, let my life reflect Your blessing and glory.
8. Lord, take away every limitation from my destiny.
9. O Lord, let my end be more glorious than my beginning.
10. Father, honour me in the very places where I was once rejected.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. You shall not end the way you started, in Jesus’ name!
2. Every negative label on your life is cancelled today!
3. The Lord is enlarging your territory beyond imagination!
4. Your sorrow is turning into honour and celebration!
5. The blessing of the Lord will rest upon you indeed!
6. Every curse over your destiny is destroyed forever!
7. You shall rise from obscurity into divine visibility!
8. No evil shall prevail over your life and family!
9. Where you were once despised, you will now be honoured!
10. Your conclusion shall be glorious in the name of Jesus!

Description: Your current situation may look hopeless, but when Jesus steps in, He changes the narrative and turns your condition into a testimony.

INTRODUCTION:
Life is full of conditions—situations that sometimes confine us, define us temporarily, and even threaten to limit us permanently. Some conditions come as sickness, delay, poverty, rejection, barrenness, failure, or affliction. But as a child of God, you must know that your present condition is not your conclusion. Where you are now is not where God intends you to remain. The crippled man at the Pool of Bethesda had been in his condition for thirty-eight years, but the day he met Jesus, his conclusion changed.

Conditions are real, but they are not final. Only God has the final say over your life. Men may mock you, situations may confine you, and circumstances may label you, but God’s power can rewrite your story in a moment. The presence of Jesus in your situation guarantees a change of conclusion.

Just as the Word of Jesus lifted the man who had been stagnant for decades, that same Word is alive today to lift you, heal you, restore you, and reposition you. Beloved, your condition is not permanent—it is only a passing chapter in the book of your destiny.

1. YOUR CONDITION DOES NOT DEFINE YOUR IDENTITY
The lame man was called “the impotent man” because of his condition, but that was not God’s definition of his life.

a) Conditions can label you, but they cannot limit God’s plan.
People may name you by your struggles, but God knows you by your destiny.

b) You are not your problem.
Your true identity is in Christ, not in your circumstances (2 Corinthians 5:17).

c) God sees beyond your condition.
While men saw a cripple, Jesus saw a man destined to rise.

d) Don’t accept the wrong identity.
Refuse to let your problem define your personality.

Biblical Example: Blind Bartimaeus was identified by his blindness, but Jesus gave him a new identity (Mark 10:46-52).

2. YOUR CONDITION IS SUBJECT TO DIVINE INTERRUPTION
God can step into any situation, no matter how long it has lasted, and bring change.

a) Time does not limit God.
Thirty-eight years of affliction ended in one encounter (John 5:5-6).

b) Divine visitation changes situations.
When God shows up, impossibilities bow (Luke 1:37).

c) Delay is not denial.
Though it tarries, God’s appointed time will surely come (Habakkuk 2:3).

d) God specializes in sudden miracles.
In one moment, the man went from lying down to walking.

Biblical Example: The woman with the issue of blood suffered for twelve years, but one touch ended her affliction (Mark 5:25-34).

3. YOUR CONDITION REQUIRES YOUR RESPONSE
Jesus gave the man a command: “Rise, take up your bed, and walk.” The man obeyed, and his miracle manifested.

a) Obedience to God’s Word activates change.
Miracles follow those who obey (John 2:5).

b) Faith must replace excuses.
The man had excuses about others getting in first, but Jesus required faith, not excuses.

c) Action is required.
Miracles demand a step of faith—rising, stretching, moving, or declaring.

d) Hold on to your testimony.
Taking up the bed meant he would never return to that condition.

Biblical Example: Peter stepped out of the boat by faith and walked on water at the Word of Jesus (Matthew 14:29).

4. YOUR CONDITION IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR GOD’S GLORY
Every trial is a platform for God to display His power and glory.

a) God uses your story to draw others to Him.
The healed man became a testimony in Jerusalem.

b) Problems become testimonies when God steps in.
Messes turn into messages of His faithfulness.

c) God is glorified in your lifting.
Your change of story will announce His greatness.

d) Your testimony will silence your enemies.
The miracle silenced those who had written the man off.

Biblical Example: Lazarus’ resurrection glorified God and strengthened the faith of many (John 11:40-45).

CONCLUSION:
Beloved, your present condition is not your conclusion. Like the man at the Pool of Bethesda, your years of struggle cannot cancel God’s power to intervene. One Word from Jesus can change everything about your story. Don’t let your circumstances define you. Don’t allow your delays to discourage you. God has the final say, and His plan is good, glorious, and full of hope.

No matter how long you’ve waited, how deep the pain is, or how hopeless things appear, remember this truth: your condition is not your conclusion. When Jesus steps in, everything changes. Rise in faith, take God at His Word, and walk into your new season of victory.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, thank You because my present condition is not my conclusion.
2. Father, by Your mercy, step into my situation today.
3. O Lord, let every long-standing problem in my life expire by Your power.
4. Jesus, speak a Word that will lift me out of stagnation.
5. Lord, silence every voice that has mocked me because of my condition.
6. Father, let my story become a testimony of Your glory.
7. Lord, give me the grace to respond in faith, not excuses.
8. O God, restore everything I have lost to delay and affliction.
9. Lord, make me a living testimony that will draw others to You.
10. Father, rewrite my story with Your glory in Jesus’ name.

GOD’S WORD FOR YOU TODAY:
1. Your condition will not define your destiny.
2. Your long-standing problems are giving way to sudden miracles.
3. The season of waiting is over; your time of rising has come.
4. What men used to mock you for will become your testimony.
5. God is turning your pain into praise.
6. Your story is changing, and your glory will shine.
7. The power of Jesus will silence every negative label on your life.
8. You will not die in that condition—you will rise again.
9. God will glorify Himself in your life and situation.
10. Your conclusion shall be glorious!

INTRODUCTION:
Life often presents us with situations that appear final, hopeless, and unchangeable. Many people mistake their current condition for their final destination. They assume that what they are going through now will determine how their story ends. But our God is a God of turnaround, restoration, and new beginnings.

Job’s life is a clear testimony of this truth. He lost everything—his wealth, his health, his children, and even the support of his wife and friends. Yet, Job 42:12 declares that “the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning.” This is evidence that your condition is not your conclusion.

God is not done with you yet! Where people expect to see your end, God will begin a new chapter. Where the enemy thought he had the final say, God will rewrite your story with glory. Your pain is not permanent, your struggle is not your full stop, and your present crisis is not your conclusion.

1. YOUR PRESENT CHALLENGE IS TEMPORARY

a) Trials do not last forever (2 Corinthians 4:17)
Your affliction is for a moment; it is producing an eternal weight of glory.

b) God works in seasons (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
Every season has an expiry date, and no trouble lasts beyond its appointed time.

c) Darkness gives way to light (Psalm 30:5)
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

d) The valley is not permanent (Psalm 23:4)
Even though you walk through the valley, you are not meant to dwell there.

Biblical Example: Joseph’s pit and prison did not stop his palace destiny (Genesis 41:41-43).

2. GOD’S PURPOSE IS GREATER THAN YOUR PROBLEM

a) God has thoughts of peace towards you (Jeremiah 29:11)
His plans are higher than your present struggles.

b) Problems do not cancel God’s promises (Numbers 23:19)
What He has spoken concerning you will surely come to pass.

c) God turns evil into good (Genesis 50:20)
What the enemy meant for harm, God uses for your elevation.

d) Purpose gives meaning to pain (Romans 8:28)
Everything is working together for your good because you love God.

Biblical Example: Esther was once an orphan, but God’s purpose made her a queen and deliverer (Esther 4:14).

3. YOUR STORY IS NOT FINISHED YET

a) God is the Author and Finisher (Hebrews 12:2)
If He began with you, He will perfect it.

b) What looks like an end is often a bend (Isaiah 43:19)
God specialises in making a way in the wilderness.

c) Your latter days will be better (Haggai 2:9)
The glory of the latter house shall surpass the former.

d) Restoration is part of God’s agenda (Joel 2:25-26)
He restores wasted years and gives satisfaction.

Biblical Example: Naomi thought her life was over, but God gave her a new testimony through Ruth (Ruth 4:13-17).

4. YOUR FAITH DETERMINES YOUR FUTURE

a) Faith speaks life, not death (2 Corinthians 4:13)
What you believe and confess shapes your tomorrow.

b) Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6)
Faith is the currency for divine change.

c) Faith refuses to quit (Micah 7:8)
When you fall, you will rise again because faith keeps you standing.

d) Faith moves mountains (Mark 11:23-24)
What looks impossible bows to the power of believing prayer.

Biblical Example: The woman with the issue of blood changed her conclusion by faith (Mark 5:25-34).

5. GOD SPECIALISES IN CHANGING CONCLUSIONS

a) God has the final say (Lamentations 3:37)
No man or situation can overrule His verdict.

b) He turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11)
God changes sorrow into celebration.

c) He gives beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:3)
Out of brokenness, God brings forth glory.

d) He raises the poor from the dust (1 Samuel 2:8)
God changes positions in a way no man can.

Biblical Example: Lazarus was dead four days, yet Jesus reversed his conclusion (John 11:43-44).

CONCLUSION:
Beloved, your current condition is not the final chapter of your life. Where people see a full stop, God places a comma. Where men say it is over, God declares it is just beginning. Job rose again, Joseph ruled again, Naomi rejoiced again, and Lazarus lived again.

Your story is still being written, and with God, the end will be glorious. Hold on in faith, for your condition is not your conclusion.

3. O Lord, give me faith that sees beyond my present trials.
4. Father, turn my shame into glory in the name of Jesus.

7. Lord, silence every voice mocking my present condition.
8. Father, let my latter glory be greater than my former.
9. Lord, rewrite my story with Your mercy and favour.
10. Father, bring me into my glorious conclusion in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. Your condition will not swallow your destiny in Jesus’ name!
2. The plans of the enemy over your life are overturned today!
3. God is opening a new chapter of glory in your life!
4. Where you have been mocked, you shall be celebrated!
5. Every closed door against you is opening by fire!
6. Your latter glory shall be greater than your former!
7. Whatever has died in your life is coming back to life!
8. You are moving from trials to testimonies!
9. God is lifting you from the pit to the palace!
10. Your conclusion shall be joy, peace, and greatness in Jesus’ name!
